Giordano tells why he believes this to be a purely political move, noting the end date of the payments and the importance the issue will play in the midterms. This launches a conversation between Dom and his producer Dan, with both wondering why Democrats continue to turn a blind eye to the lofty tuition rates set by colleges. Then, Giordano, when promoting today’s Krasnerland on Facebook, discusses the potential solutions to the havoc that Krasner has brought into Philadelphia, lamenting that it’s now been close to 90 days since State Senator Jake Corman called for an impeachment of the DA.

Then, John McNesby, FOP Lodge 5 President rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the decision by Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney to end the residency requirement for Philadelphia police recruiting. Up until today, for the past 2 years, Philadelphia police has been unable to hire any officers who haven’t spent 6 months living in the city prior to employment. McNesby explains how this happened, and tells what it means for recruiting in the city, telling that this reopens a huge pool of candidates, allowing recruitment to resume at both colleges and military bases.
