Manufacturing PMIs in the region, from Vietnam to Malaysia, have all showed improvements. But Han Tan of FXTM points out that many of these Asian economies are still largely dependent on major economies, where recovery has plateaued. We also speak to him about the volatility the ringgit has seen recently and how the ringgit has done with respect to other regional currencies.
