Crumbling infrastructure? Spend more. Cost of prescription drugs too high? New regulation. Inflation rising? Get a new relief package passed. Cost of child care too high? Raise the minimum wage and create a new spending program for parents. Last night the President laid out his plan for a better America, but his plan amounts too little more than the same old “tax, spend & regulate” mentality. That should come as no surprise since government has a limited set of powers to combat rising prices, poor education and a crumbling infrastructure. The fact is, government can’t help you.
