#106 Why It's Important to Work on Your Relationship with Yourself First
You want your relationships to be different. If that other person would just be different, everything would be so much easier.
You don’t have any control over that other person, so this leaves you stuck.
When you work on yourself – how you are seeing and reacting to the world around you, that is where you can affect some change, but also start to feel better.
Take aways:
1. When you work on you first, everything begins to shift because you start seeing yourself, others, and the world differently. You don’t see the world as it is, you see the world as you are.
2. When you work on you first, that is where your power and agency lie. This is moral agency in action. You don’t need anyone else to change for you to be an agent in your own life.
Challenge:
Join the Hopeless 2 Hope-full program, beginning September 17. We will begin the work on you – integrating your thinking mind, your emotional heart, and your reactive nervous system. When you focus on all three of these important pieces of you, you will begin seeing huge shifts in how you think, feel, and do.
