In this Episode, I sit down with Becca Gonzalez and talk about money habits and how she helps female entrepreneurs achieve their money goals. She shares her journey about how she was in $90,000 in debt and how she was able to reduce that debt while still living a normal life. She emphasized not throwing every penny into paying debt off, but balancing both living a realistic life and paying it down at the same time so that we don’t feel deprived. We are not taught money habits in school which leads to many getting into the debt unfortunately. Budgets, even though it’s a word we really don’t like because we’ve been associating budgets with restriction. Rather than looking at as something “restrictive” look at it as a plan that keeps you on track for reaching your financial goals. She also emphasizes the importance of placing deadlines on your goals.
