Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our weekly theme, "Training Camp", and we discussed the big "why" of prayer.  Why pray to God?  We shared 5 key reasons (closeness to God, wisdom, cleanliness, peace, and petition) including scripture references Psalm 145:18, James 1:5, I John 1:9, Philippians 4:6-7, I John 5:15.  Our special guest was MBI Bible professor, Dr. Bill Thrasher.  He oversees the Master's Program in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship; plus, he has authored several books.  We highlighted his latest release called, "How to Resurrect a Dead Prayer Life".  Hear the highlights of today's program on the Karl and Crew Showcast.
