Focusing on a specific goal will get you the desired outcome that you are aiming for. Usually, trial and error comes along with the package but it doesn't mean that you've failed. It just means that you know what doesn't work.

You can keep a record of attempts that didn't work and do something else that will get you closer to the specific goal. Documenting the process will help with curating a manual, course or some sort of instructional material.

Write it out and make it plain. Break it down into pieces so that you understand what's necessary to hit your goal.
