Full Hour | In today’s second hour, Dom leads off the Dom Giordano Program by telling about a shark attack on a 15-year-old girl in Stone Harbor, NJ, who had her foot bitten while surfing. Dom ties this to the construction of offshore windmills, asking whether sharks are moving closer to the shoreline due to the work being done, which has killed whales and dolphins all up and down the Jersey Shore. Then, Dom reads back an editorial that suggests voters should not view Dianne Feinstein’s cognitive shortfalls similarly to Fetterman’s, justifying why issues Fetterman is suffering through pales in comparison to Feinstein, which Dom takes issue with. Then, Dom reads back a new column written by Will Bunch in the Inquirer claiming that the Republican push on the debt ceiling is based in nihilism, responding with an explanation why he believes the opposite to be true.

Then, Dom welcomes in State Representative Russ Diamond back onto the Dom Giordano Program after the Republican publicly asked Doug Mastriano to not run for United States Senate after the State Senator teased an announcement next week. Diamond, who has been a longtime ally of Mastriano’s in Harrisburg, put out a tweet publicly asking the Senator to stand down because of the negative implications his gubernatorial run had on other elections statewide.
