We’ve had people say you can’t shelter your kids and if you look it up in the dictionary, it’s a horrible description that says stuff like strict parents who won’t let their children into the world. Someone requoted this definition and said it was discerning parents who are careful, and respectful to introduce kids to the real world when they’re grounded and prepared. When they’ve got the foundation to be able to wade through the world. We have no control whatsoever over what people create and what kind of content they put out into the world, but we do have control over how we let those kinds of things into our lives and home. “He focuses on being smart so he doesn’t have to be strong.”
