We think, from a lens being in Metro Detroit and Michigan, and respectfully, that some in the media like Steve Kornacki, Harry Enten, Dan Pfeiffer, and others may have missed a key indicator when trying to analyze this race.

Steve Friess has been a freelance journalist for the New York Times, Newsweek, Politico and many others. But this isn't his first rodeo. He was the guy who first reported the contentious butterfly ballot story in 2000, for instance.
