What happens when a scientist ventures into the mystical realms of spirituality? This week, we welcome Crystal Cassidy, CEO and founder of SoulPod, who shares her remarkable journey from biochemistry and cancer research to becoming a spiritual guide. We delve into deeper themes of surrender, spiritual support, and the evolution of consciousness. Crystal recounts her near-death experience, highlighting the themes of karmic healing, interconnectedness, and the profound sense of spiritual support she felt. We discuss the crucial role of humility and the pitfalls of the spiritual ego, encouraging listeners to approach their spiritual practices with clear intentions and a playful, experimental mindset.

Today is a special day...It's the first guest interview on Holistic Hotties!
Today we have on Lauren Hayes - she is relationship coach specializing in supporting ethically non-monogamous (ENM) couples, including swingers and the ENM-curious.
In this episode, we dive into SO much more than ENM. We discuss how to start becoming conscious of programs + wounding within ourselves that are playing out within our relationships & how to ultimately utilize compassionate inquiry to choose a more evolved, expanded, & sovereign love.
We talk about the foundations of any healthy relationship - monogamous or non-monogamous - and how to really lean into vulnerability + communication to establish an empowered sense of self within any partnership.
Whether you are happily monogamous (like me!), ENM, or ENM-curious, this episode will help you expand upon your current definition of "love" and invite you to rewrite + reprogram a "conscious love".
Enjoy!

Ever wondered if the fairy tales we grew up with set us up for unrealistic expectations about love? Reflecting on my recent engagement, I dive into how Disney movies and boomer generation influences have shaped our perceptions of monogamy and romantic relationships. I share my personal journey of questioning these norms, especially during my transformative time in Santa Cruz. Here, I encountered ethical non-monogamy and began to see its potential to redefine love. Tune in to explore the inherent restrictions in monogamous relationships and the importance of choosing authentic partnerships that foster mutual growth and support.

"What is my purpose?" It's something we all, at one point, have asked ourselves. For those of us in a transition - from 20's to 30's, for example - wondering what our purpose is can feel like a looming and anxiety inducing endeavor. In this episode, I talk about how we can let our purpose find us. I break down how we can start to tune more into our internal authority so that we can, in turn, move towards what passion our purpose is trying to move through.

Our trust muscle, like any other muscle in our body's, takes time to build - to strengthen. In this episode, I talk about how to start slowly building your trust muscle. The universe wants to support you. The universe wants to give you everything you want. Building your trust muscle is about truly feeling - truly knowing - that in your body SO THAT you have the courage to choose a different behavior, a different belief, and thus, a different frequency to create from.

I recently experienced an episode of somatic hijacking - this is when an old wound (that we may have thought was healed) resurfaces with an intensity of somatic disregulation that we may have not felt in years. I talk why this happens to us on the healing journey, how we can begin to process, and how to truly begin to heal these wounds ; in our minds through mental rewiring / reprogramming AND in our bodies through somatic & emotional releasing. Enjoy<3

In this episode, I talk all about identity. What it is and more importantly, how to disengage from identifying with your identity. Our identity is the framework for everything we create in our lives; everything we create is in an attempt to maintain our sense of Self - and thus, our sense of safety. In this episode, I talk about how to start noticing what parts of your identity you are attached to and how to slowly unlatch, question, let go, and all for the most Authentic version of Self to come to the surface.

I just returned from Toronto where I spent the weekend celebrating my Dad's life. Surrounded by his friends, family, neighbors, and classmates, I got glimpses into seasons of my Dad's life before he was a Dad. In reflecting on this weekend, the anecdotes, and ultimately, his life, I am sharing 5 lessons I've learned from my dad in his life and in his death. Hope 1 or all 5 resonate with you.
