Hi guys!
Last week my mind was racing. Two big projects with a mountain of decisions, two podcast episodes to get out, and Eric was out of town — so my steady rock wasn’t around to calm the noise. I caught myself spiraling in pure overwhelm… until I snapped out of it and said out loud: “Pull yourself together. Get a hold of your mind. You can do hard things, so do them.”
In this episode I’m sharing that exact moment and why sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is interrupt the autopilot and take the wheel back. If your brain has ever run away with you, this one’s for you.
I love you guys
My peace does not require anyone else’s discomfort.
In this episode I’m talking about the very human part of us that wants the people who hurt us to feel some of that pain too… and why hanging onto that desire actually keeps us stuck longer than the original wound. I share the moment I realized my sister (who has shunned me because of religion) may not even be thinking about it at all—and how that one truth helped me finally put the weight down.
If you’ve ever waited for someone else to suffer so you could feel free, this conversation is for you. We’re talking ego, boundaries, self-respect, and the quiet strength of choosing peace that doesn’t need anyone else’s discomfort.
Listen now and let me know what lands for you.
Hi guys! Welcome to this week’s episode of the Wildly Successful Lifestyle podcast.
I was packing for a Florida trip to meet my sister when I hit a wall — literally and figuratively. Eric was flying in from Europe, so I had packed for both of us. When I finished zipping up that giant, overstuffed suitcase at the top of the stairs, I thought, “Now how am I supposed to get this down without him?”
For a second I froze. Then I started laughing and said the words out loud: “Well, I guess I’ll figure it out.”
What happened next surprised me — and it led to a bigger conversation about self-reliance, mindset, and why some things stay stuck until they become a “must.”
Tony Robbins has always said, “If you must, you can.” In this episode I share the real story plus a gentle reframe for anything you’ve been wanting to do but keep putting off because it feels too hard.
If you’re in a season where you’re learning to trust yourself more — whether it’s travel, health, relationships, or just everyday life — this one will feel like a hug and a nudge at the same time..
Thanks for being here. You are wildly capable.

Hi guys! Welcome back to the Wildly Successful Lifestyle podcast. I’m Heidi.
In this episode I’m sharing a real travel moment where intrusive thoughts tried to take over. I was already running late, the airline kept saying they’d board “in just a minute,” and I could feel that frustrated voice in my head getting louder and louder. Then something sweet and unexpected helped me not give in.
We’re talking about don’t give in to intrusive thoughts — those automatic reactions that show up in the middle of the beautiful mess and try to pull you into making extra problems. I’ll tell you exactly what happened with a little two-year-old who kept appearing at the perfect time and how one simple pause kept me from spiraling.
If you’ve ever caught yourself mentally yelling at the gate agent, spiraling in a long line, or letting intrusive thoughts ruin your day, this one’s for you. Come hang out — I think you’re going to feel seen and encouraged.
I love you guys.

Hi guys, welcome to Episode 674 of the Wildly Successful Lifestyle podcast. I’m Heidi.
I woke up in the middle of the night the other night and couldn’t go back to sleep because my mind had latched onto an old family dynamic — something I thought I’d already made peace with. It wasn’t even a current issue. The relationship is actually in a pretty good place right now. But there I was at 4 a.m. replaying it and catching myself thinking, “I should bring this up. I should finally get some clarity.”
And then the real question hit me: Why though? There’s no answer that’s going to change what already happened. So why make it an active problem when the present relationship doesn’t need that?
In this episode, I’m sharing the exact moment that shift happened for me and why choosing not to stir things up felt like the most loving thing I could do — for myself and for the relationships that matter most right now.
If you’ve ever caught yourself replaying an old family dynamic, an old hurt, or a past version of yourself and felt the pull to “fix” or “bring it up” even when nothing in the present actually requires it, this one’s for you.
You’re allowed to feel the old twinge. You’re also allowed to choose peace over making it a problem.
I’d love to hear what comes up for you when you listen. Take care of yourselves, and I’ll talk to you next time.
Hi guys! welcome to this episode of the Wildly Successful Lifestyle podcast. I’m Heidi, and I’m so glad you’re here.
We just got back from Milan and Rome, and while we were there, Eric walked into our hotel room, took one look at my exploded suitcase and clothes everywhere, laughed, and said something that stopped me in my tracks: “It’s a beautiful mess… because it means you’re here.”
Eric is the tidy, organized one in our relationship, so hearing him reframe my chaos as something beautiful and meaningful really touched me. It got me thinking about all the beautiful messes we have in life — the ones we usually apologize for or stress over.
I share the sweet story from our hotel room, then we talk about the flipped rugs and zoomies our King Charles Cavaliers create every time we leave the house (yes, I have videos and I’m choosing to see it as pure joy). We also explore the beautiful messes that show up when kids or grandkids visit, after a fun gathering with friends, or even in the middle of a creative project.
The bigger conversation is about presence over perfection. What if the messes in our homes, our schedules, and our hearts are actually evidence that we’re living fully? That we’re here, showing up, loving, and creating?
If you’ve ever felt like you need to apologize for the state of your space or your life, this one’s for you. I invite you to look around and try reframing one beautiful mess this week — it might just change how you see everything.
I’d love to hear what your beautiful messes look like. Come say hi on Instagram @theheididawson or leave a comment on YouTube. Thank you for being here and for embracing the real, wonderfully imperfect parts of life with me.
In this heartfelt episode, Heidi opens up about navigating overwhelm during a hectic couple of weeks filled with both exciting growth and heavier emotional challenges.
From juggling two major design projects and her podcast, to the uncertainty around a long-awaited Tesla order and passport issues for an Italy trip with her husband Eric, to the pain of family exclusion around her niece’s wedding due to religious reasons — Heidi gets real about how much of the stress we feel is often self-created through overthinking, perfectionism, and trying to control outcomes that aren’t fully in our hands.
She vulnerably shares the simple but powerful practices that are helping her move from overwhelmed to grounded: pausing with the game-changing question “What is this?”, practicing letting go with trust instead of gripping tightly, offering herself radical self-compassion instead of judgment, and intentionally building an inner sanctuary of peace no matter what’s happening externally.
If you’ve been feeling like life is stacking up — whether it’s good stress from projects you love or harder stress from family dynamics, uncertainties, or your own expectations — this episode will feel like a warm, wise conversation with a friend who gets it. You’ll walk away reminded that you’re not alone, that managing stress beautifully starts with how kindly you hold yourself through it, and that wildly successful living includes learning to love yourself in the messy middle.
Perfect for women in midlife, anyone on a personal growth journey, or anyone craving more peace amid the chaos of a full life.
Listen now and give yourself the grace you deserve.

Everything Isn’t Urgent: The Sandwich That Changed How I Move Through My Day
I saw a video of a woman eating her sandwich while rushing around the kitchen… and then she just stopped. She realized she could sit down for five minutes and actually enjoy her lunch—because those things she was doing weren’t truly urgent.
That moment hit me hard. I caught myself doing the exact same thing—not just with food, but with my design work, phone calls, and almost everything else in my day. I was treating normal tasks like small emergencies, and it was stealing my peace, my creativity, and my presence.
In this episode, I’m sharing the simple (but surprisingly powerful) mindset shift that’s helping me slow down without falling behind. We talk about why that “I have to figure this out right now” panic doesn’t actually help us create better work, why most phone calls can wait, and what happens when we give ourselves permission to pause.
If you’ve been moving through your days feeling like everything is urgent, this one will feel like a deep exhale.
Key takeaway: Everything isn’t urgent. Most things can wait five minutes—and those five minutes might just change how you experience your entire day.
Connect with me on Spotify or Youtube and let me know what you’re going to pause for today. I’d love to hear from you.
Thanks for being here. I hope this episode gives you something gentle to carry with you.

Hi guys, welcome to Episode 670!
This week I’m sharing something that’s been really eye-opening for me. I had two pretty big things happen back-to-back, and in both situations I was stressing myself out trying to force them to happen. Once I finally let go, everything opened up with so much more ease than I expected.
I talk about the funny little lesson I keep learning with my dogs Sonny and Charlie every morning, and how it’s actually a perfect mirror for the rest of my life. I also share the full story of trying (and failing) to force my passport situation for a last-minute trip to Italy with Eric… and what finally happened the moment I stopped gripping so tightly.
If you’ve ever felt like you were getting in your own way, or if you’ve been carrying anxiety about something you really want, this episode might give you a little permission to soften.
Letting go doesn’t mean you stop caring. It just means you stop making it so hard on yourself. I hope this conversation gives you something to think about today.
Hi guys, welcome to episode 669.
This week I’ve been sitting with a really powerful question from James Clear: “You may want the results, but do you want the lifestyle?” At first it sounded simple, but the more I thought about it, the more it opened up something important.
In this episode, I’m sharing two personal places where this question hit me — one with the podcast and one with my sister — and why getting honest about what we’re actually willing to live for matters so much. I also talk about the difference between already doing the work and just waiting for the result versus wanting the result without being willing to live the lifestyle that would create it.
If you’ve ever felt that quiet frustration or disappointment around something you say you want but haven’t created yet, this conversation might give you some clarity and a little more peace.
I’d love to hear what comes up for you when you listen.
Take care of yourselves, and I’ll talk to you next time.
