Today, on The Sub2Deals Show, we talk with Tammy & JC Gauthier. Jean-Claude's (J.C.) has a 30+ year background as a Senior Software Engineer/Computer Systems Analyst and Senior Team Manager, which allows him to bring much needed development and automation systems to the Real Estate Investing arena. This makes it easier for business owners to properly manage their needs and goals. JC also has extensive knowledge and experience in negotiating with property sellers and he is the creative mind behind structuring our deals. This allows FSP to make more creative offers to better suit our client's needs. Tammy has worked in Sales/Marketing Management and General Operations for the last 25 years. She brings a vast knowledge in the implementation of multiple types of systems and people management to create a seamless flowing business environment. Tammy manages our Associates, as well as maintains our day to day relationships with other Real Estate Professionals across the US. They currently hold 10 properties in their portfolio that were purchased either by Sub-to, seller-financing or by using private money. Their goal is to add 20 more cash flowing properties into their portfolio in 2021!

What is Tom's typical transaction from a sub-to perspective?

What are Tom's favorite tools that make his job easier?

Is finding leads for sub-to deals easy?

Tom Ely was born and raised in Memphis, TN, The Home of the Blues and The Birthplace of Rock 'N' Roll. From an early age, music was his passion. He started playing guitar at 13 years old, was in his first rock band by 14, and had dreams of being a Rockstar. At the age of 23, and with no record contract, he went back to college and then went on to a career in Information Technology. With some hard work and determination, he moved up, becoming an Engineer and then a Manager, while making a six-figure salary. Growing very weary of Corporate America, and working for someone else, he decided to make a change and became a Real Estate Investor.

He started his journey in Real Estate investing in April of 2015 and left his corporate W2 job in January of 2017. Tom prefers to acquire Single Family homes via 'Subject to' or Owner Financing and rent them out as either a Lease with Option to Purchase or a Short-Term Rental.

Tom also provides Hard Money loans to Investors for Fix and Flipping properties, as well as for BRRRR strategies.

Tom is married to an amazing, beautiful, and talented woman, Frances Ely. This year they will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary. They have three awesome kids, one cool dog, and a crazy cat.
