Wintrust Business Minute: Future of Oberweis Dairy is uncertain after bankruptcy filing
Steve Grzanich has the business news of the day with the Wintrust Business Minute.
The future of Oberweis Dairy is uncertain following a bankruptcy filing. The North Aurora company filed for bankruptcy protection last Friday and listed more than $4 million in debts. The company owes money to a trucking company, a food products wholesaler and the Cook County Treasurer. Oberweis was founded in 1915 and company officials haven’t commented on next steps for the company. The company is owned by family members of former republican State Senator Jim Oberweis.
Also, UL Solutions made its stock market debut and its share price rose 25%. Listen for more below:
