Wintrust Business Minute: Oberweis warns employees about layoffs
Steve Grzanich has the business news of the day with the Wintrust Business Minute.
In the wake of its bankruptcy filing, Oberweis Dairy has warned employees about coming layoffs. A filing with the State of Illinois says 127 workers will be cut at the company’s plant in North Aurora. Oberweis filed for bankruptcy last week. It listed more than $4 million in debt. The filing says the layoffs could start as soon as June 11. Oberweis is known for its ice cream and dairy stores.
Also, Sprout Social is losing its CEO. Justyn Howard is stepping down this fall. Listen for more below:
