When I was younger I lived so much of life trying to become ‘the best version of myself’... and it actually seemed to make things worse. I struggled with how I viewed my body, I often got lost in comparison, and my relationships with myself and others suffered as a side effect.
Nowadays, I feel less reactive to the world around me. I’ve made peace with my body and food, and I’ve consciously built a life that feels intentional and aligned. Today I’m sharing the external, internal, and relational shifts I made over time to get to this beautiful space I’m so grateful to be in now.
Today on WithIn:
My daily external priorities: meditation, sobriety, sleep, and food
Learning to regulate your emotions while still making room to feel them
Removing the noise of comparison from your life
Intentionally balancing your energy
Accepting the truth that you will disappoint people in life - and that’s okay
Making room for a sense of purpose and meaning in your life

I recently returned from our wonderful Clarity and Connection women’s retreat at Sansara in Panama. This year’s retreat felt divinely-led, and I could not be more grateful for the experience.
22 women joined me for a week-long experience of yoga, meditation, sound baths, incredible food, raw nature, and connection with self and each other. The women were all in different stages of life, but they had one thing in common: they were on a journey of coming home to themselves.
Today I’ll share why this retreat felt like it was orchestrated from above, and why hosting these events is so deeply meaningful to me.
