Gemma Rader is no stranger to competing at a high level in the sport of CrossFit, and this year achieved more than ever when she became Fittest in Africa, and qualified for the 2024 CrossFit Games.

Whilst they weren’t the Games anyone envisioned, Gemma spoke about her personal experience that weekend, and all the changes and sacrifices she went through to get there.

Now, nearing the end of the year, we speak about her plans for the future, and what she plans on doing for 2025. Note: this episode was recorded before the plans for the 2025 season were announced by CrossFit HQ.

Georgia Davenport is one of the UK’s best CrossFit athletes, making it to the Games in 2023 as part of team CrossFit Rotherham.

After a successful diving career, and both a competitor and a coach, Georgia fits training to be one of the fittest in the UK alongside a very busy schedule - yet still manages to make it to Semi finals and even the Games! We chat about growing up as an athlete, expectation on herself, and how it has helped her with her career today.

Kenzie Riley will be a very familiar face and name for those of you that have followed the sport of CrossFit for the last decade or so. Competing in 6 CrossFit Games, including 1 on a Team, and most recently as a Master, she has solidified herself as one of the legends of the sport.

Welcome back to WOD you talkin’ about? We took a short break for the Summer and post CrossFit Games, thank you for tuning back in.

As I mention at the beginning of the episode, I hadn’t been quite sure on how much news to share regarding the events of this years Games. There’s a lot of content out there and would recommend listening to the recent episode of Talking Elite Fitness linked below for further information on what The PFAA are doing to help the sport proceed.
