    WOMEN OF GRACE host Johnnette Williams continues the topic from yesterday show on suicide. Many people may turn to it because of discouragement. Our courage can flag in our daily lives. We must walk with God and walk away from what causes us to be discouraged. We must praise God even when we are discouraged and in failure. It will help you to overcome the bondage that can lock us up. Caller Lisa shares a story of her friend’s brother who killed himself after coming back from military and not hearing back if he got a job with local police. The day of his funeral a letter of acceptance can in. Johnnette shares that this is discouragement and time would show God’s work. Adad share a flyer she received on the Divine Mercy prayer after suicide. Johnnette adds that this can help with guilt if you have it after love one passes. Sandra shared a story of guilt by her niece who had an argument before her mother (Sandra’s sister) killed herself. She walked her up to her mother and asked forgiveness at the casket. Matthew called in and as the president of a suicide prevention organization has some resources and instructions on looking at others and yourself.     On a more somber WOMEN OF GRACE host Johnnette Williams speaks to people who have spouses or relatives who have depression and have turned to suicide. Caller Angela first asked for prayer as she has had to put her depressed husband in a hospital for his mental state. Johnnette suggested she turn to St. Joseph for prayers for him. Kathleen then called to offer advice as her husband when through this as well and he committed suicide after release. She suggested not leaving him alone. Caller Donna also had a husband who killed himself and she feels guilty that she did not see it coming after his depression. Johnnette says we are not to live in a world of “what ifs”. Do not question if you did this. Ask for healing from God. Leonard rounded up the callers as his wife also failed at suicide but succeeded after she came home.     WOMEN OF GRACE host Johnnette Williams welcomes listeners to the 2nd week of Advent. Do we follow the order of God? How do we set up resolutions for ourselves? Do you feel like everyone else is doing something and getting by with it. Why shouldn’t I? We are meant be different. Johnnette remember that Fr. Wade Menezes loves to quote Flannery O’Conner.
    “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you odd.” …..
    We are to be a light in the darkness. We are to follow intellect and not emotions. Emotions should only be a sample of what we follow. April texted in and ask Johnnette what she should do to prepare for a blessed Advent. Johnnette is quick to say spend more time in front of the Blessed Sacrament. Make a new habit of going to adoration. Caller Pat wants to know what is the best way to bring her son-in-law closer to the faith and to go to confession. Johnnette tells her to give seeds of faith . It may fall on rocky ground so listen to him and God will tell you when to sow those seeds. Kim called in and recently lost her husband to cancer. She still feels married and wants to know what to do next. This is a question close to Johnnette since she went through this as well. Listen to her advice to Kim on today’s WOMEN OF GRACE

Caller Jo is cheerful because of Johnnette witness. Caller Kate has issues with her sister’s meditation to keep calm in her home. Johnnette suggest for her to pray the rosary with her sister to find peace. Johnnette also shares a prayer of healing from the book “Deliverance Prayers: For Use By the Laity.” She also shares the symptoms of a heart wound.
