Johnnette Williams, the host of WOMEN OF GRACE, shares the blessings she received during her father’s funeral. She was focused on the pascal candle. It is their at our baptism when we die to sin and during our funeral when we are born into eternal peace. Singer Kitty Cleveland called in and shared her thoughts how the scandal in the church is a betrayal. It is a sword in the heart of our Mother Mary. We must not take a revenge attitude to the Church. Johnnette say we do not hold a mother responsible for the sins of her children. We do not hold mother Church the same way. The church gives us life. The baptism font is the womb of the church. Dory called to tell that she and her daughter have returned to the Church amidst the scandal. Carol called and so we do not need revenge as there is no healing through that. Johnnette Williams, the host of WOMEN OF GRACE, welcomes guest Sue Brinkmann. Johnnette says that the church does not change with the times. Jesus is the same in the past, present and the future. Johnnette shares the last moments of her father’s death and how her family was around during last rites. She asks listeners what changes did you make in you life that you did not believe before? Joanie called and had problems with Our Lady since she came from a protestant church. She now is in love with her and considers her a Mother. Robin had issues with pro-life and has now changes. Tessa also had pro-life issues and even had a WOMEN OF GRACE CD but never listen to it. Now she understands and considers birth control pill a destroyer of life. WOMEN OF GRACE host Johnnette Williams talks about all the bad things and trials that we must endure. We must remember that greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. Johnnette reminds us of Saint Robert Bellarmine on his feast day. Caller Helen asked why Catholics worship Mary and as an EX-Catholic she never read the Bible. She was relieved to read one once she was in a Protestant church. Johnnette said Catholic do not worship Mary. She herself we agree with that. WE venerate her. As for the Bible, Catholics have 3 Bible readings every day and 4 on Sunday. This is at every Mass. Braden is a Latter Day Saints minister yet he loves the Catholic faith and even with our disagreements we still have a lot in common. Patricia can not believe that anyone would think that Catholics do not read the Bible since we are the ones that started it and gathered the books together. Johnnette and Sue invite callers to the show to share their opinions, focusing on the importance of these individual’s salvation and the healing process as we experience the cross and His ultimate sacrifice.

On Today’s WOMEN OF GRACE host Johnnette Williams asked for prayers for her father who is going into hospice. She is reminder of the St. Faustina when she wrote in her diary that life was difficult and told Jesus that this causes a hindering for her work for him. Jesus replied for her to “Do as much as in your power and don’t worry about the rest..” Mary called to say we should turn more over to Our Lady. Given all the current troubles the bishops should consecrate the nation to The Blessed Virgin. Johnnette says it is a good idea and her bishop recently did it for the diocese. Ellen wrote in and asked why the St. Michael prayer is not used anymore. In today’s times it would be great to have his strength in our parishes. Johnnette says she has been to a few that still do it. Marilynn called to say that the news is causing her dread and she has started feeling bad. Little Things Can Cause a Big impact

WOMEN OF GRACE host Johnnette Williams shares that today is the feast of St. Teresa of Calcutta. Even with her being small in stature she lead an abundant life. She was a darling of the media and even if they disagreed with her message they knew she was being straight forward in it. This little woman was inspiring. Caller Silvia commented that with the Church in it’s scandal needs our prayers. She suggested the novena of Our Lady Undoer of Knots. Johnnette agrees that we are all called to pray for the Church. There is power in prayer. Colleen called and says that little things have a big impact. Johnnette says that little actions can have big results. Non-Catholic minister Bron called and applauded Johnnette and he love of God. Johnnette says we as Christians have more in common than not. Sherry called in and told of her troubled childhood. WOMEN OF GRACE host Johnnette Williams shares that today is the feast of St. Rosalia. In her life she became a hermit and led a life of prayer. She broke away from others to give her life to Jesus. We also have break away to pray on a daily bases. Private prayer is important. Patty called in to ask from prayers for her daughter. She has had several brain surgeries and is denying God. She does not know why God created her like this. Johnnette understands the anger her daughter has. Suffering causes us to lash out. She is on an emotional roller-coaster. Keep praying. Lindy called in to share her experience after priest abuse. She decided to forgive her abuser. Once she did this she found peace. Johnnette agrees that praying for your persecutors is very Christ-like. Betty wants to know about her work in a hospital that performs abortions and what she should do.
