“This podcast for me is about sharing stories of resiliency and stories of grit and creativity and hardness in purpose in the wake of darkness. And you experience that in any language.
“I am someone who functions equally well in both languages and I want to not miss on a story because of a language barrier that I don't even have.”
Our featured podcast host in this episode is Ydaiber Orozco, host of Rekindle Your Light.
What Ydaiber says about Rekindle Your Light:
Ever had those moments when life felt like it drop-kicked you into the depths of rock bottom? Well, I've been there too. I've weathered significant losses and navigated through my darkest night of the soul in 2022– and yes, I promise to spill it all.
Since then, my sense of purpose has undergone a transformation.
I'll be sharing my journey and the stories of people who found light in the wake of darkness. These tales will inspire you, equip you with the tools for personal transformation, and perhaps, even heal parts of your own soul.
My goal is to reignite the inner spark within you.

How often should I release a new podcast episode? Do I really have to do two a week? Can my podcast be made in batches?
This episode will help you decide.
If you’re a regular listener to Women Who Podcast you will know that I publish a new episode at least once a week. With the addition of these mini episodes that cadence increases to twice a week.
There are some podcasts which publish every day and others that come out once a month.
There’s no right or wrong frequency but what you want to get out of your podcast will help you decide how often you want to publish.
Here are some things to consider:
If you have liked what you’ve heard so far and you want to learn more from me then the Women Who Podcast membership is open. It’s a low cost membership aimed at making podcasting easy for all members.

" Ultimately it can come to a point where the production side of it is holding you down from putting your best message out there.
"So if you hit that wall, then that can be a great time to say, okay, what can I outsource so that then I can, you know, grow the show, think more high level about the show."

How long should your podcast episode be? Is five minutes too short? Is 90 minutes too long?
This episode will help you decide for yourself.
Is my episode too long, or too short, is a question that even seasoned podcasters ask themselves.
Some podcast episodes are best suited at 10 minutes or less, others are best if over an hour but the long and short of it is all down to your content.
There is no one-size-fits-all answer for every single podcaster, but I’m going to share csome considerations to help you decide how long your episodes should be.

“Let's create a vision for your life, if you were to look at next year, or 5 years, 10 years from now, what do you see?
“What do you want your life to be like, how do you want to feel in your body? How do you want to feel in your life?
“We start to look at this bigger vision then we can break it down like what components, what pieces need to be in place in order for you to start living into that vision right now.:

“So often people don't feel great this time of year. They do let a lot of their habits go and feel guilty and ashamed and like they're not worth it and they've failed.
“Whereas instead you can sort of feel empowered and confident in your food decisions and also not deprived, like an element of restriction. Trying to maintain certain habits will probably always be required because otherwise it would be a free for all and you'd be eating all day.
“But it doesn't mean that you have to be deprived.”

Mikkipedia is an exploration in all things health, well being, fitness, food and nutrition. I sit down with scientists, doctors, professors, practitioners and people who have a wealth of experience and have a conversation that takes a deep dive into their area of expertise. I love translating science into a language that people understand, so while some of the conversations will be pretty in-depth, you will come away with some practical tips that can be instigated into your everyday life. “It’s true that there are going to be certain places in certain spaces where you're even more alive and more aligned with the people around you. The things you're talking about, the things you're prioritising, the things that are important to you are going to be different in a community that you're really aligned in versus it's a community where you're finding alignment, but you're having to work really hard to find it.”
Our featured podcast host in this episode is Cat Caldwell Myers, host of The Adventure Paradox.
What Cat says about The Adventure Paradox:
This Podcast returns us to the wisdom of our great grandparents and ancestors who lived bravely and simply without all the extras of our modern day world. Our work and conversation stems around approaches to adventure, and the mundane, for both are the great paradox of life. Each guest and episode will bring you to a new level of understanding and ever closer to the adventure that is seeking you, inside your soul, regardless of your current circumstances. Many have forgotten that the adventure is NOW - wherever we are, whatever is happening, and whoever we do it with, as much as it is all that we have done and all that we will do. Mothers, Caretakers and Women who crave elevated relationships and love animals and nature will especially resonate with our message, community and offerings. Welcome!

“I had a good friend who was a podcaster, and he always encouraged me to start a show, but of course it took many, many, many years until I was ready, but there were little seeds planted along the way.
“It's still an experiment, and it always was an experiment, and I feel very in touch with my creativity. And so, rather than having a plan where this is the way it is, it's much more of a creative process and flow for me.”
