My heart and thoughts are with those women and their families in Ukraine. The stress of what they are going through. As well as coping with menopause symptoms.
Did you know that stress can increase your menopause symptoms?
I know a lot of us are past our childbearing years. But you could have a daughter or a friend about to have a baby and this podcast will help them prepare for their pregnancy and the birth of their child.
Today's podcast is with Doula Coach Nicola.
I see lots of ladies going through IVF, ICSI, or trying naturally to have a baby. The joy that they feel when they find they are going to be parents is fabulous. But fear can set about their pregnancy and pending birth.
I remember being pregnant with my first baby who is now 25 Hannah. I had the flattest tummy for the first 20 weeks no one would believe me that I had a baby in there. I had doughts myself at times only the scans I had convinced me. I was very scared about the birth, you hear every horror story.
I'm so honored to have met Nicola. Nicola is a Doula Coach and in this podcast, she shares how she helps women thorugh pregnancy and helps prepare them for their birth, and supports them through pregnancy. Supports them when they have had their baby and have come home.
Nicola shares the importance of the two weeks after having your baby that you need to rest and recover.
Nicola is a birth and postnatal doula supporting, helping, and encouraging pregnancy and new mummies in Northern Ireland.
"I want my clients to know that there are options and choices when it comes to their birth".
"I'm there to support them no matter what their preferences are, or how their birth unfolds".
As parents transition to their expanding family, I am available to help with the everyday tasks that tend to take a back seat, be a sounding board for any questions or concerns and assist with breastfeeding if needed. It is my privilege and honor to be invited into this very sacred space of pregnancy, birth, and early motherhood.
