Full Hour | In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes Vicki Flannery, chair of the Montgomery County chapter of Moms for Liberty, back onto the Dom Giordano Program ahead of this year’s Joyful Warriors Summit held at the Philadelphia Marriott happening this weekend. First, Dom asks Flannery how it’s been in the suburbs of Philadelphia as the necessity for transparency and parental rights spreads, with Flannery reporting that, before taking her group private, her group had over 1,300 members. Then, Flannery and Giordano delve into the mission statement of the organization, telling about her groups call for more transparency in our schools, telling that the group grew out of the distrust parents had for schools during the Coronavirus pandemic. Then, Flannery reveals that she’s currently on location for the convention helping to set up, and tells why she feels no discomfort and danger leading up to the event, knowing the amount of protection the founders have planned for the weekend.
Then, Dom tells about a new initiative in the State of Oregon to allow for self-service gasoline, which leads to a long discussion between Dom and producer Dan over whether this will lead New Jersey to follow suit. Dan gets passionate in his defense of gas attendants, reviving his ‘Dan the Red’ persona to make a stand for the workers who will lose out with such a shift and the lack of convenience that comes with having to pump your own gas.
