Veteran screenwriter John Fusco discusses his journey from dropping out of school for The Blues to obtaining his GED, being accepted to NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and eventually winning a screenplay contest that brought him to Los Angeles. Fusco wrote a Western on spec against all advice and went on to writing films including Young Guns, Hildago, and his latest script The Highwaymen. The crime-drama starring Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson following a pair of Texas Rangers who come out of retirement to catch the infamous outlaws Bonnie and Clyde is now streaming on Netflix!
