Today’s topic is about Lead Poisoning Jonathan says many people mistakenly believe if they don’t have peeling lead paint in their homes, they have nothing to worry about. He says some of the hidden sources of lead are fabric used in furniture. Lead can be used during the curing process of the material on furniture imported from China. Imported candies from Mexico, toys made in other countries or antiques can contain lead in the paint or materials.

Pancreatic Cancer. Barbara says the foundation was established in the memory of her husband Ron who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in October 2005.The foundation is dedicated to promoting early detection and ultimately finding a cure through ongoing research. The foundation provides financial assistance to pancreatic cancer patients in need through Ron's Rescue Fund. The foundation hosts fundraisers year round, but the largest annual fundraiser is Ron's Run for the Roses Kentucky Derby Event, held the first Saturday in May.
