Brenda says it will be held at the Old State House in Hartford on January 24, with an inclement weather date of January 31. The event is being held to increase awareness of the energy affordability crisis in Connecticut and to raise money for households that need energy assistance. Brenda says there are currently more than 320, households in Connecticut that cannot afford their energy bills, this includes working families with young children and the elderly who are living on fixed incomes. The Ice House will be open from 9:30 am until 5 pm on january24.

Mark Twain House and Museum's 38th Annual Holiday House Tour. The tour is December 2 from 11 am until 3 pm. The tour will include the Mark Twain House and 4 private homes in Hartford and West Hartford in close proximity to the Twain House. All will be decorated for the holidays. Karen says there will be people at the Mark Twain House that will be able to answer any questions people may have. Owners will also be available to answer questions at the private homes on the tour.
