Poll: Record 67 Percent of Voters Support Deportations
A Fox News poll shows a record 67 percent support among registered voters for the deportation of illegal migrants.
Deportations are supported by 40 percent of liberals, 62 percent of Hispanics, 53 percent of blacks, 65 percent of moderates, and 86 percent of conservatives.
The Fox News poll matches recent polls by Ipsos, Marist, YouGov, and Harvard-Harris. Those polls show almost two-to-one support for enforcing the nation’s existing border laws that protect American strivers and families from poor migrants and from employers who cheat by hiring cheap foreign labor.

Cuba forced to ‘paralyse economy’ amid desperate energy crisis
Cuba’s government has announced it will halt all non-vital state services and businesses for three days as it battles an energy crisis that has caused marathon blackouts for much of the country.

North Korea has started sending troops to fight with Russia in Ukraine, South Korea’s spy agency has said as Seoul warned of a “grave security threat”.
The allegation comes a day after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he believed 10,000 North Korean soldiers could join the war, based on intelligence information.
South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol called for a security meeting on Friday and said the international community must respond with “all available means”.

ECB set for second straight rate cut as economy stagnates
The European Central Bank is likely to lower interest rates again on Thursday, arguing inflation in the euro zone is now increasingly under control and the economy is stagnating.
The first back-to-back rate cut in 13 years would mark a shift in focus for the euro zone’s central bank from bringing down inflation to protecting economic growth, which has lagged far behind that of the United States for two years straight.
The latest economic data is likely to have tilted the balance within the ECB in favour of a rate cut, with business activity and sentiment surveys as well as the inflation reading for September all coming in slightly lower than expected.

Watchdog files FCC complaint against CBS over ’60 Minutes’ edit
The Center for American Rights (CAR) on Wednesday filed a formal complaint with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) against CBS News over its allegedly misleading edit of a “60 Minutes” interview with Vice President Kamala Harris.
Multiple Republican politicians have urged the network to release the full unedited transcripts of the appearance last week, after the vice president’s answer in a clip promoting the interview differed from the answer in the full interview that aired. House Speaker Mike Johnson has also accused the network of “selectively editing” his interview.
The center said its complaint is not about “one” instance, but of broader “significant and intentional news distortion.”

“When broadcasters manipulate interviews and distort reality, it undermines democracy itself,” he continued. “The FCC must act swiftly to restore public confidence in our news media.”

Biden admin slapped with major lawsuit over alleged refusal to help state purge noncitizens from voter rolls
The state of Florida is suing the Biden administration over what it claims is a refusal to verify immigration records so that the Sunshine State can ensure the integrity of its voter rolls and prevent noncitizens from voting.
the state argues that DHS is mandated to respond to an inquiry from state or local governments seeking to verify the immigration status of anyone in their jurisdiction for a purpose authorized by law.
“Because the federal government is refusing to comply with these obligations and frustrating Florida’s ability to maintain the integrity of its elections, Florida files this suit,” the lawsuit says.
Florida says it “has an obligation to maintain accurate and current voter registration records” and also notes the impact of the crisis at the southern border, which brought millions of noncitizens into the U.S.
It argues that it cannot track and maintain immigration information on its own. States can verify status through a DHS program called the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) program. According to the lawsuit, DHS and Florida have an agreement to allow the state to use SAVE to verify immigration and citizenship status for people on the the voter registration rolls.
The lawsuit claims that Florida’s Department of State identified a number of individuals for whom it had evidence that they were not citizens, but couldn’t run a search via SAVE as it doesn’t have unique identifiers.

Kamala Harris Wants America to Have the World’s Highest Death Tax
The American Business Defense Foundation reports that under the Harris tax plan, the number of Americans subject to the hated death tax would double or triple.
This would happen because Harris has declared she will let the Trump tax cut expire next year if she becomes president.
Thanks to the Trump tax cut, the amount of an estate that is currently exempt from tax is roughly $13.6 million.
But according to the IRS: “Under the tax reform law, the increase is only temporary. Thus, in 2026, the exemption is due to revert to its pre-2018 level of $5 million, as adjusted for inflation.”
Kamala wants this to happen. She wants to soak the millionaires and billionaires. But under her plan, thousands more families will be clobbered by this tax when a parent dies. This brings new meaning to the idea of “the grim reaper.”
Now many farms, ranches and family-owned businesses will have to be sold after a funeral just to pay the taxes. These are mostly owners and operators of small businesses that have been built up over a lifetime to million-dollar-plus enterprises. The owners have already paid Uncle Sam millions of dollars of income, property, payroll, energy, business and other taxes and annual levies.
Now they will have to pay a 40% estate tax rate, plus another 5 to 15% depending on what state they die in. In other words, roughly half of a family inheritance must be forked over to the politicians. The IRS gets almost as much as the kids and grandkids. The agents should at least pay their respect at the funeral!

Bill Clinton: U.S. Needs Migrants Because of Americans’ Low Birth Rate
The United States needs more migrants to replace the children that Americans are not producing, former President Bill Clinton said at a press event on Sunday.
“America is not having enough babies to keep our populations up, so we need immigrants that have been vetted to do work,” Clinton said at a fish fry in Fort Valley, Georgia.
He repeated the claim at another campaign stop on October 14, saying, “We got the lowest birth rate we’ve had in well over 100 years. We’re not at replacement level, which means we got to have somebody come here if we want to keep growing the economy.”
However, mass migration into the United States makes it difficult for Americans to have enough babies because it drives down family wages, pushes up housing prices, and distracts national leaders from delivering policies that help Americans have more babies.
Since 2007, when the fertility rate was at its most recent high, the number of births has declined 17%, and the general fertility rate has declined 21%, according to the new report.

Nearly one-third of Border Patrol’s surveillance cameras along U.S.-Mexico border not working: Memo
Nearly one-third of the cameras that are part of the U.S. Border Patrol’s main surveillance system along the 2,000-mile U.S.-Mexico border are not functioning, according to an internal agency memo from earlier this month that was obtained by NBC News on Monday.
The agency wrote in the memo that the “nationwide issue is having significant impacts” on its operations. The outage was attributed to “several technical problems” and it has affected anywhere between 150 to 500 cameras.
The report cited an anonymous source from within the agency who attributed the widespread problem to “outdated equipment and outstanding repair issues.”

Feds Admit: Child Sex Trafficking Reports Triple under Harris and Biden
Youth sex trafficking and its myriad cruelties tripled under President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, according to a report in TheFreePress.com.
The rising number of youth sex-trafficking cases were posted at the Department of Health and Human Services when TheFreePress demanded the data under the Freedom of Information Act. The agency is responsible for checking and issuing Certification and Eligibility Letters to the children and youths who first request aid after escaping sex traffickers.
The agency issued 1,143 letters in 2021, 2,226 letters in 2022, and 2,148 letters in 2024 under the welcome policies set by border chief Alejandro Mayorkas. The agency has not posted any data since the first week of September 2023.
The incomplete data adds up to 5,517 letters since October 2020, or an average of 1,8,37 letters per year
Under President Donald Trump, the number of letters averaged 562 per year — or just one-third of the record reached under the guidance of pro-migration progressives.
The number of child cases under Biden and Mayorkas is three times their adult caseload, according to the agency data.

Spy Drones Swarmed Langley Air Base, Pentagon Unable To Counter Threat
A new Wall Street Journal report said a fleet of spy drones swarmed some of America’s most sensitive national-security sites, including Langley Air Force Base on Virginia’s shoreline late last year.
For several nights, military personnel had reported a mysterious breach of restricted airspace over a stretch of land that has one of the largest concentrations of national-security facilities in the US. The show usually starts 45 minutes to an hour after sunset, another senior leader told Kelly.The first drone arrived shortly. Kelly, a career fighter pilot, estimated it was roughly 20 feet long and flying at more than 100 miles an hour, at an altitude of roughly 3,000 to 4,000 feet. Other drones followed, one by one, sounding in the distance like a parade of lawn mowers.The drones headed south, across Chesapeake Bay, toward Norfolk, Va., and over an area that includes the home base for the Navy’s SEAL Team Six and Naval Station Norfolk, the world’s largest naval port. -WSJ
Kelly said some drones were roughly 20 feet long and flew more than 100 mph at 3,000 to 4,000 feet altitude. None of these drones were shot down because federal law prohibits the military from dispatching F-22s, F-35s, and other fighter jets to neutralize drones for ‘aerial snooping’ – unless these unmanned systems posed an ‘imminent threat.’

North Korea has blown up sections of roads leading to South Korea, effectively disconnecting the two countries, according to the military in Seoul.
Explosives were detonated on the northern side of the border on Monday, the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said in a statement, as quoted by the Yonhap news agency.
“North Korea has detonated parts of the Gyeongui and Donghae roads north of the Military Demarcation Line at around noon,” the statement read. The two roads had not been in active use since August and the blasts did not cause any damage on Seoul’s side of the border, the JCS said. The South has, however, ramped up surveillance and readiness after the incidents.

“The military has not sent a drone to North Korea,” the South Korean JCS stated plainly on Friday. “We need to confirm whether a civilian group sent one.”

Iran Cyber Attacks Against Israel Surge After Gaza War: Report
Israel has become the top target of Iranian cyber attacks since the start of the Gaza war last year, while Tehran had focused primarily on the United States before the conflict, Microsoft said Tuesday.
“Following the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war, Iran surged its cyber, influence, and cyber-enabled influence operations against Israel,” Microsoft said in an annual report.
“From October 7, 2023 to July 2024, nearly half of the Iranian operations Microsoft observed targeted Israeli companies,” said the Microsoft Digital Defense Report.
From July to October 2023, only 10 percent of Iranian cyber attacks targeted Israel, while 35 percent aimed at American entities and 20 percent at the United Arab Emirates, according to the US software giant.
Since the war started Iran has launched numerous social media operations with the aim of destabilising Israel.
“Within two days of Hamas’ attack on Israel, Iran stood up several new influence operations,” Microsoft said.
An account called “Tears of War” impersonated Israeli activists critical of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s handling of a crisis over scores of hostages taken by Hamas, according to the report.

Mask Mandates Set To Return In Several California Areas
Mask mandates will be returning to several counties in California’s San Francisco Bay Area starting next month.
Alameda County, which encompasses the city of Oakland, issued an order last month that mandates staff at health care facilities to wear masks between Nov. 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025.
“The fall and winter of 2023-2024 saw substantial waves of RSV, flu and COVID19, and a similar pattern is expected this year,” the health order said, adding that such viruses “typically circulate and peak in Alameda County during the late fall and winter months.”
It warned that any violation of the order’s provision in Alameda County “constitutes an imminent threat and menace to public health, constitutes a public nuisance, and is punishable by fine, imprisonment, or both.”
The mandate only applies to staff and not patients or visitors.
Napa County issued an Oct. 1 health order that mandates health care workers in health care facilities wear masks. It doesn’t apply to visitors and patients.

German City Tells Residents To Strike Up A Conversation With Criminal Migrants And Encourage Them To Stop Committing Crimes
Police in the Kiel, Germany, are struggling to keep up with the criminal activity of a small group of migrants who have sent the community in turmoil. In response to the concerns of citizens, the town’s council has told people to “talk to” the migrants and encourage them not to commit crimes.
The 30 migrants are primarily of Roma heritage, are largely illiterate, and are reportedly only able to speak Turkish. They arrived in the community as refugees from Ukraine along with a number of ethnic Ukrainians. But out of all of the refugees accommodated in the Kiel district of Wik, the group of 30 non-Ukrainians are the only ones causing problems.
Some incidents with the group involve littering, mass thefts, and blasting their music using outdoor speakers well into the early morning. Attempts to ban them from certain stores or assign them a curfew have been unsuccessful, as they simply ignore the orders.

The Biden administration announced the U.S. military will deploy a Terminal High-Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) battery and an “associated crew of U.S. military” personnel to aid Israel following the most recent attacks from Iran, according to a press release.
With tensions in the Middle East escalating over the past year, Iran launched approximately 200 missiles into Israel on Oct. 1, retaliating for multiple assassinations of Iran’s terror proxy leaders. In a press statement released by Pentagon Press Secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder, the U.S. Department of Defense confirmed the aid to Israel at the direction of Secretary Lloyd Austin, noting that the action “underscores the United States’ ironclad commitment to the defense of Israel.”
The THAAD, an anti-missile system, is designed to “defend Americans in Israel, from any further ballistic missile attacks by Iran,” according to the press statement, and serves as a ground-based interceptor that effectively shoots down ballistic missiles. Though the U.S. previously sent a THAAD battery to Israel in 2019, and again in 2023 following a terrorist attack, it has not deployed one since, the press statement stated.

But if you’re leading the hunt it’s a visual clue that he’s probably new to this and, in his excitement, he went to his local hunting store bought all the gear in an effort to look like one of the guys. It tells you to keep an eye on him and to be ready to offer quiet instruction so as not to embarrass him.
I don’t fault Walz for clearly being inexperienced with firearms and hunting. Anyone who is proficient in either had to learn sometime. For most of us, I think, the scorn heaped upon him is due to the fraudulent nature of it all. What VP candidate takes a day off to go hunting? Well, they don’t unless they see it as a photo op. Dems realize Americans think Walz is a beta male weirdo, so some campaign genius said, “I got it! He’ll go hunting! He’ll look manly!” With the exception of “The Natural,” I generally hate sports movies because the lead actor usually looks like he’s never played sports in his life. Watching Walz handle a shotgun is like watching Keanu Reeves throw a football in “
The Replacements.” It’s painful. (Robert Redford was believable as an aging baseball player because he clearly played the game as a boy. Same with Kevin Costner in “For the Love of the Game.”) In this video, Walz appears to be having difficulty loading his shotgun while on a pheasant hunt. He tells the reporter, whose questioning tone suggests she’s not buying any of this, that it’s a Beretta A400. The A400 is a semi-auto shotgun. Many guides don’t allow semi-autos on a hunt because they can’t see at a distance that you’re “safe.” A break-action double-barrel is therefore preferred since they can tell when your gun cannot be fired (be it loaded or not). This is because the barrel is on a hinge that “breaks” open to permit manual loading. And this is very important for safety.
I would wager that most accidental shotgun deaths involve semi-autos. This is all the more important in pheasant hunting. Unlike, say, deer hunting where you might sit in a tree all day long by yourself, pheasant hunting is typically done in large groups where the hunters are arranged in a crescent and marched through a field toward “blockers,” that is, hunters who stand still in a line. The idea is to drive the birds into the blockers and force them to flight. Hunting in such close proximity with other hunters can be dangerous for a variety of reasons: the birds fly parallel to the ground at head level, excitable hunters start blasting away at everything that moves or don’t wait for the birds to reach a safe height, accidental discharges, etc. A guide wants to see that your weapon is open and therefore inoperable in all but the hunt. The loading port on the A400 is beneath the weapon near the trigger guard.
This type of loading is an acquired skill, and Walz doesn’t have it. (I’ll add that Walz says he bought it for trap shooting. In this he is correct. I wouldn’t want to use an A400 pheasant hunting. It’s not a field gun. It’s heavy. But it’s excellent for clays.) He fumbles around and, sensing he’s making a fool of himself, he appears to stop before he’s managed to get it loaded. As you can see, this carefully choreographed hunt wasn’t so carefully choreographed. It’s become Tim Walz’s Michael Dukakis-in-the-tank moment. It’s also noteworthy that in this gaffe Democrats, for all their faux rage about “toxic masculinity,” unwittingly pay homage to masculinity and its appeal. They do know what it is. They just don’t know how to practice it.

Vem Miller releases statement on alleged assassination attempt
49-year-old Vem Miller, arrested near former President Donald Trump’s rally in Coachella, California, has spoken out, denouncing claims of an assassination attempt and blasting what he calls “fake news” surrounding the incident.
Miller’s arrest came after law enforcement found a shotgun, a handgun, and a high-capacity magazine in his vehicle, along with what authorities initially claimed were counterfeit VIP and press passes for Trump’s rally.

Miller also addressed the claim that he had counterfeit passes: “That’s complete nonsense,” he said.
“I can prove I had a special entry pass sent directly to me by officials within the Republican Party of Nevada. I was an actual invitee to that event. As I approached, there was an area where you enter the parking lot after passing a sheriff. I pulled up to the sheriff. Actually, I should take that back; I’m not 100% sure he was a sheriff. He was wearing a sheriff vest, but many of them were. My assumption is that not everyone there was a sheriff,” he added.

Major Bank Hit with Record Fine Over Drug Cartel Money Laundering Scandal
One of America’s major banks has been hit with a massive fine after federal investigators said it was lax in its efforts to monitor money laundering.
TD Bank will pay $1.89 billion to the Department of Justice, $123.5 million to the Federal Reserve Board, and $450 million to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, according to the consent order between the federal government and the bank.
The bank must also pay $757 million to the Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement, referred to in the consent order as FinCEN.
“From fentanyl and narcotics trafficking, to terrorist financing and human trafficking, TD Bank’s chronic failures provided fertile ground for a host of illicit activity to penetrate our financial system,” Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo said.

Court Strikes Down Part Of Blue State’s Restrictive Gun Law In Win For Second Amendment
A federal district court struck down part of a law that made it illegal to carry a firearm on private property without a clear form of consent from the owner.
The U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York reached its decision in Christian v. James by finding that New York penal code § 265.01-d’s restriction on “private property open to the public” unconstitutional and enjoining the state from enforcing it.
The law made possessing a firearm on private property a felony “unless the relevant property holders actually permit such possession with a sign or express consent,” according to the decision. In 2022, New York passed the Concealed Carry Improvement Act (CCIA), including § 265.01-d.
The plaintiff of the case, Brett Christian, argued that the wording of the state’s provision made it impracticable for him to carry a firearm for the purposes of self-defense. He further said New York’s private property restriction extended to publicly frequented areas such as parks, hiking trails and public transportation like the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority’s metro rail.
District Judge John Sinatra Jr. argued that the latter restriction was inconsistent with “the Nation’s historical traditions” that “have not countenanced such a curtailment of the right to keep and bear arms.” He enjoined the state of New York from enforcing the concealed carry restriction on “private property” that is open to the public.

New to the list of former President Trump’s campaign tax proposals is a plan to end double taxation for Americans living overseas.
“I support ending the double taxation of overseas Americans,” Trump said in a statement shared Thursday with The Hill.
Americans living abroad can have tax obligations both to the U.S. and to the country where they reside, though U.S. tax laws have some features to mitigate those dual burdens.
But that’s still a relatively unusual mandate, as many countries allow their citizens not to pay taxes while they’re residing abroad.

Costco Gold Bars Are Selling Out Even As Prices Surge, Survey Finds
Around 77 percent of Costco outlets that sell bullion bars were sold out in the first week of October, a Bloomberg survey found.
The news outlet and financial services company said it surveyed 101 stores in 46 states that sell gold and recently restocked the precious metal.
The apparently high number of sales comes even as gold prices have surged in the past year or so. In the past 12 months, gold is up about 41 percent, going from around $1,864 per ounce to $2,640 per ounce.
According to data provided by the American Precious Metals Exchange (APMEX), the spot price for gold hit a record $2,686 per ounce on Sept. 26.
Costco started selling the 1-ounce gold bars in late 2023 in its stores and via its website, available only to members.

FEMA knows they’ve lost the PR war and is trying to deflect responsibility by blaming everyone but themselves.
Rumor: FEMA distributes aid based on demographic characteristics.
Fact: FEMA provides assistance to survivors regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, English proficiency or economic status.
Well, that’s demonstrably false. FEMA itself held a webinar just last year “trumpeting the urgent need to move away from policies that benefit the greatest number of people and instead turn focus toward ‘disaster equity’ where aid is distributed based on innate characteristics like sexual orientation and gender identity.”
The site also tried to debunk the “rumor” that FEMA is out of funds for disaster relief, as reported by DHS’ own head honcho, Alejandro Mayorkas.
Rumor: FEMA does not have enough money to provide disaster assistance for Helene.
Fact: FEMA has enough money right now for immediate response and recovery needs. If you were affected by Helene, do not hesitate to apply for disaster assistance as there is a variety of help available for different needs.
FEMA is ratcheting up its Keystone Cops routine at exactly the wrong time, with Hurricane Milton tracking at top speeds toward Florida. The bottom line is, if you’re doing your job and you’re doing it well, you don’t need to waste time and resources on trying to prove that you are. FEMA is flailing, and we all know it.

According to VoteHub.us, which sources data from the North Carolina State Board of Elections, a total of 22,910 mail-in ballots have been submitted so far, with 9,075 returned by Democrats, compared to 5,595 by Republicans and 8,240 by unaffiliated voters.
Out of the 284,245 mail-in ballots requested, 261,335 have yet to be returned.
Of the outstanding mail-in votes, 93,285 belong to registered Democrats, 65,333 to Republicans, and 102,717 to unaffiliated voters.

North Korea’s military has announced that it will cut off all roads and railways to the South, in response to Seoul’s joint military exercises with US forces.
According to a statement by the general staff of the North Korean People’s Army and shared by state media, the project to sever all transportation lines with South Korea and “completely separate” the two territories was launched on October 9.
Additionally, Pyongyang said it will “fortify the relevant areas of our side with strong defense structures,” according to the Korean Central News Agency.
