『すると、イエスは彼に言われた。「この大きな建物を見ているのですか。ここで、どの石も崩されずに、ほかの石の上に残ることは決してありません。」』

  宮における最後の一日は火曜日でした。この日、イエス様は自分に敵対する者たちや民衆や弟子たちとの問答をし、特にエルサレムの滅亡や終末についての説教や預言をしました。この言葉が語られたのは、紀元後30年頃、そして、エルサレムの神殿が破壊されたのが、紀元後70年でした。石は、預言通りに崩されていました。それは、神殿が焼け、金が石の間に入り込み、それをローマ兵が持ち去ったためでした。

　今日も、主のみ言葉に耳を傾けることができますように・・・。　

「And Jesus answered and said to him, "Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone shall be left upon another, that shall not be thrown down." 」　Amen.

　The last day in the Temple was Tuesday. On that day, Jesus questioned his opponents, the people, and his disciples, especially preaching and prophesying about the destruction of Jerusalem and the Apocalypse. These words were spoken around 30 AD, and the temple in Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 AD. The stones were crushed as prophesied. That was because the temple had been burned and gold had gotten between the stones and the Roman soldiers had taken it away.

　May we listen to the Word of the Lord also today.

「And He said to them, "It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer,' but you have made it a 'den of thieves.' 」　Amen.

　This week is Passion Week. Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem on Sunday, which is known as the "Palm Sunday. Then, on Monday, Jesus dared Cleansing of the Temple. The high priest had been using the temple garden for his business, making huge profits through bribes and other means. Jesus' anger was outburst against them.

　May we continue to be mindful of the heart of Jesus today.

『そして彼らに言われた。「『わたしの家は祈りの家と呼ばれる』と書いてある。それなのに、おまえたちはそれを『強盗の巣』にしている。」』

　今週は、受難週です。日曜日に、イエス様はロバに乗ってエルサレムへ入城しました。この日は「棕櫚の聖日」と言われています。そして、月曜日にイエス様は宮きよめを敢行したのです。大祭司は、神殿の庭を商売に利用し、賄賂などによって莫大な利益を得ていたのです。それに対するイエス様の怒りが爆発したのです。

　今日も、イエス様の心に思いを寄せることができますように・・・。

『27:27 それから、総督の兵士たちはイエスを総督官邸の中に連れて行き、イエスの周りに全部隊を集めた。27:28 そしてイエスが着ていた物を脱がせて、緋色のマントを着せた。27:29 それから彼らは茨で冠を編んでイエスの頭に置き、右手に葦の棒を持たせた。そしてイエスの前にひざまずき、「ユダヤ人の王様、万歳」と言って、からかった。27:30 またイエスに唾をかけ、葦の棒を取り上げて頭をたたいた。27:31 こうしてイエスをからかってから、マントを脱がせて元の衣を着せ、十字架につけるために連れ出した。』

旧約聖書で預言された救い主イエス様は、預言通りに誕生されました。その使命は、私たちを罪から贖い、永遠の命を与えるためでした。その為に、罪なきイエス様が私たちの身代わりとなって十字架に架かって死なれたのです。それは、私たちをたくさんの呪いから解放し、イエス様の元へ招く為でした。死んで、墓に葬られ、三日目に蘇られたイエス様は、今も生きて働いておられるのです。今週は受難週ですので、イエス様の十字架の道行に心を思い巡らせながら、祈りながら過ごしていきたいものです。

　愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。あなたの打たれし打ち傷も、流されし血潮も、刺されし茨の冠も、すべてが私たちを救う為でありましたから感謝します。あなたのその大きな愛故に私たちが生かされたことをありがとうございます。この受難週にイエス様のことを思い巡らすことができますように導いてください。全てを感謝し、主イエス・キリストのお名前によってお祈りいたします。　　アーメン。

「His name shall endure forever;

His name shall continue as long as the sun.

And men shall be blessed in Him;

All nations shall call Him blessed.」　Amen.

The title is "Psalms of Solomon." Solomon, son of David, was the king who ruled over the golden age of the nation of Israel. He built a magnificent temple and the nation was at peace. This Psalm is also called the Psalm of Waiting for the Messiah. Thus, at that time Solomon ruled, but beyond that, he had in view the reign of Jesus.

May we surrender our hearts to His rule today as well.

『王の名がとこしえに続き

その名が  日の照るかぎり増え広がりますように。

人々が彼によって祝福され

すべての国々が彼をほめたたえますように。』

  表題には、「ソロモンのために」と書いてあります。ダビデの息子ソロモンは、イスラエルの国の王様としては、黄金期に統治した王様でした。彼は、壮大な神殿を建設し、国は平和な時代でした。この詩篇は、「メシヤ待望の詩篇」とも呼ばれています。従って、この時点ではソロモンが統治していますが、その先には、イエス様の統治も見ているのです。

　今日も、主の支配に心を委ねることができますように・・・。

「Do not cast me off in the time of old age;

　Do not forsake me when my strength fails.」　Amen.

No one can live forever. There comes a time when we all come to an end and must sum up our lives. Whether or not you know God at that time will make a big difference. Jesus said, Joh 14:3; And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself." We have a place to go and Jesus will be with us there. It's a relief, isn't it?

May we be with the Lord today.

『年老いたときも　私を見放さないでください。

　私の力が衰え果てても　見捨てないでください。』

　永遠に生き続ける人はいません。誰でも最後の時を迎え、自分の人生を総括しなければならない時がやってくるのです。その時に神様を知っているか否かで大きな違いがあるのです。イエス様は、言われました。「ヨハ

14:3 わたしが行って、あなたがたに場所を用意したら、また来て、あなたがたをわたしのもとに迎えます。」行くべき場所が決まっていて、そこにはイエス様が共におられるのです。安心ですよね。

　今日も、主と共に過ごすことができますように・・・。　

「But I am poor and needy;

　Make haste to me, O God!

　You are my help and my deliverer;

　O Lord, do not delay.」　Amen.

  "Hurry" and "do not delay" sound somewhat impatient with God, but there are times in life when we should wait patiently for answers to prayer, and there are times when we should hurry "now." Felix, the governor who had heard Paul speak of his faith (Acts 24:25), said, “Go away for now; when I have a convenient time I will call for you.” He put off the chance for salvation. (II Cor. 6:2) "Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."

May we be partakers of His grace today, too.
