「Many are the afflictions of the righteous,

　But the Lord delivers him out of them all.」　Amen.

　This is the song David sang when he posed as a madman for a means of escape. David believed in God and received His anointing, but he had to suffer a lot. But by believing in God completely, he was deliver everything and his path as king was opened. If it is God's will, there is no dream that cannot come true.

　May we follow the Lord's path straight ahead today as well.

『正しい人には苦しみが多い。

　しかし【主】はそのすべてから救い出してくださる。』

　これは、ダビデが逃げる手段として気違いを装った時の歌ですが、神様を信じ、油注ぎを受けたダビデでしたが、多くの苦しみを味わうこととなったのです。しかし、最後まで信じ切ることによって、すべてから救い出され、王としての道が開けていったのです。神のみ心ならば、叶わない夢はないのです。

　今日も、主の道を真っ直ぐに進むことができますように・・・。

We encounter many events in our lives, but blessed are those who have a fixed place to live after death. Blessed are those who have encountered, believed in, and obeyed the Creator God in their lives. Jesus said, Joh 14:2, “I go to prepare a place for you.”

『幸いなことよ

　【主】を自らの神とする国は。

　神がご自分のゆずりとして選ばれた民は。』

　自分の意思で生まれた人は誰もいません。自分の計画通りに人生を歩んだ人も、多分、いないでしょう。人生では、いろいろな出来事に遭遇しますが、死んだ後の住まいが定まっている人は幸いです。人生のどこかで創造主なる神様に出会い、信じ、從った人も幸いな人です。イエス様は言われました。「ヨハ14:2　あなたがたのために場所を用意しに行く」と。　

　今日も、幸いな道を歩むことができますように・・・。

Today’s Bible verse is　Psalms 32:12.       I’ll read.

「Many sorrows shall be to the wicked;

　But he who trusts in the Lord,

　mercy shall surround him.」　Amen.

The title is "By David. A Maskil". Maskil means lesson. David was loved by both God and man, but he committed a great sin. He was no longer in a position to go to war. One day, at dusk, he looked up from the rooftop and his eyes fell on a certain woman. She was Bathsheba, the wife of his subordinate Uriah. He called her to the palace, committed adultery, impregnated her, and sent Uriah to the front lines to kill him. It was an unspeakable struggle before God's forgiveness and His grace surrounded him.

May we be treated by Him today as well.

『悪しき者は心の痛みが多い。

　しかし【主】に信頼する者は

　恵みがその人を囲んでいる。』

　表題には「ダビデによる。マスキール。」とあります。「マスキール」とは、教訓という意味だそうです。神にも人にも愛されたダビデでしたが、大きな罪を犯してしまいました。もう自分が戦いに出なくても良い状況でした。ある時の夕暮れ時、ふと屋上から見るとある女性に目が留まりました。部下ウリヤの妻バテ・シェバでした。彼は、宮殿に呼び、姦淫を為し、妊娠させ、ウリヤを最前線に送り込み殺してしまうのです。神の赦しを味わい、神の恵みで取り囲まれるまでには、言い表すことのできないような心の葛藤があったのです。

　今日も、主の中で取り扱われますように・・・。

「My times are in Your hand;」　Amen.

  Up to this confession, there had been suffering, sorrow, sighing, weakness, decay, and vilification, described as being like a dead man, forgotten by the hearts of men, and like a broken vessel.  Through such painful experiences, he declares, “I trust in You.” In some cases, we may be tempted to cry out, “Does God exist?” But when we fully believe that God is indeed present, we are given another path to peace.

May we walk the path of the Lord's peace today.

『私の時は御手の中にあります。』

　この告白までには、苦しみがあり、悲しみがあり、嘆き、弱さ、衰え、そしり、まるで死人のようになり、人の心から忘れられ、壊れた器のようになったと表現されていました。そのような辛い体験の後に、「私は、あなたに信頼します」と宣言するのです。ともすれば、「神はいるのか」と叫びたい気持ちにもなりますが、「確かに神はおられる」と信じ切った時に、また、一味違った平安の道が与えられるのです。

　今日も、主の平安の道を歩むことができますように・・・。　

【Psa 30:5】

「For His anger is but for a moment,

　His favor is for life;

　Weeping may endure for a night,

　But joy comes in the morning.」

  God's anger is instantaneous. It is like the momentary pain of an injection. But it also protects us for a lifetime. God's anger causes us momentary pain, but His grace lasts a lifetime. Events that make us cry do not last long. Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise.

May we rely on the Lord today as well.

『まことに御怒りは束の間

　いのちは恩寵のうちにある。

　夕暮れには涙が宿っても

　朝明けには喜びの叫びがある。』

　神様の怒りは一瞬です。例えば、注射する時の一瞬の痛みのようなものです。しかし、その事によって、一生守られる場合もあります。神様の怒りは、私たちに一瞬の痛みを与えますが、神様の恵みは、一生続くのです。「涙が宿る」出来事も、起こり得るものですが、それは長くは続かないのです。「夜暗ければ朝近きを知れ」、明けない夜はないのです。

　今日も、主に頼る一日となりますように・・・。
