『よその女の口車は深い穴。

　【主】の憤りに触れた者がそこに落ち込む。』

　神様から離れさせようとする勢力は、よく３Ｓ、SPORT,SCREEN,SEXを使います。ここでは、セックスの落とし穴を言われています。多くの者が、この罠に引っかかるのです。そして、この罠は

深い穴だというのです。人間の心の髄まで腐らせてしまうほどの穴なのです。あの立派なダビデさえも、その穴に落ち込んだ時がありました。しかし、そこから脱出することができました。それは、切なる思いで主を待ち望むことでした。

　今日も、主を待ち望むことができますように・・・。

「He who loves purity of heart

　And has grace on his lips,The king will be his friend.」　　Amen.

　The “king will be his friend” is a Jewish expression for becoming a person of the highest class. You don't need to have many friends. Even just one friend is great if he or she is the finest of friends. But that is not so easy to do. To do that, you need to improve yourself. Not to polish ourselves, but to be cleansed by the blood of Jesus' cross. We need to pray daily so that Jesus' holiness will become my holiness and His kindness will become my kindness.

　May we pray for holiness and gentleness today....

『心のきよさを愛し、優しく話をする者は、

　王がその友となる。』

　「王がその友となる」は、最高級の人物になるというユダヤ的表現です。友達は多くいる必要はない。たった一人でも、最高級の友達なら最高です。でも、それもなかなか難しい話なのです。その為には、自分磨きが必要です。自分で自分を磨くのではなく、イエス様の十字架の血潮で清めていただくのです。イエス様の聖さが我が聖さとなるように、イエス様の優しさが我が優しさとなるように、日々の祈りが必要なのです。

　今日も、聖さや優しさを求めて祈ることができますように・・・。

「Cast out the scoffer, and contention will leave;

　Yes, strife and reproach will cease.」　Amen　

A mocker is a person who makes fun of people, looks down on them, does not take them seriously, and insults them. No matter how much we change the world's institutions, politics, and economics, there will always be strife with such people. But we cannot banish such people or change their minds. The best way to start is to examine your own heart to see if there are any such elements in it. Let's ask Jesus to search our hearts.

　May the Holy Spirit examine our hearts today....

『嘲る者を追い出せ。争いは出て行く。

　もめごとも辱めも終わる。』

　嘲る者とは、人をバカにして見下し、相手にせず、人を侮辱する人のことです。いくら世の中の制度や政治や経済を変えたとしても、そんな人がいると争いが絶えないのです。でも、そんな人を追放することも心を変えることもできません。まずは、自分の心の中に、そんな要素が入っていないか吟味する事から始めるのが一番の近道なのです。イエス様に探って戴きましょう。

　今日も、聖霊様によって心を吟味していただけますように・・・。

「He who has a generous eye will be blessed,

　For he gives of his bread to the poor.」　　Amen

The literal translation of “man of good will” is “man of good eyes.” And “a man of good eye” is a person who can see people like God. Then, how does God see people?

Isaiah 43:4) “Since you were precious in My sight,You have been honored,And I have loved you;” He is a God who waits patiently, who does not think ill of others, who does not judge based on mere appearances. We can find an example of this in Jesus, who died on the cross in our place.　

　May we spend today in the love of the Lord....

『善意の人は祝福を受ける。

　自分のパンを貧しい者に与えるからだ。』

　「善意の人」の直訳は、「目の良い人」なんだそうです。そして、「目の良い人」とは、神のように人を見る事の出来る人だそうです。では、神様は人をどんな風に見ているかといえば、(イザ

ヤ43:4) 「わたしの目には、あなたは高価で尊い。わたしはあなたを愛している。」と言われるのです。人を悪く思わない、うわべだけで判断しない、忍耐深く待つ神様なのです。私たちの身代わりとなって十字架に架かったイエス様の中に、その模範を見出せるのです。　

　今日も、主の愛の中で過ごすことができますように・・・。

「Train up a child in the way he should go,

　And when he is old he will not depart from it.」　　Amen.

　The importance of education in childhood is taught in such phrases as “The soul of a child is worth a hundredfold” (Japan), “Do unto others as you did unto you when you were a child” (Germany), and “A tree that is crooked in its buds is still crooked when it grows large” (England). Animals are born animals, but human beings do not become human beings without education. It is the duty of parents to guide their children, given to them by God, to God.

『若者をその行く道にふさわしく教育せよ。

　そうすれば、年老いても、それから離れない。』

　「三つ子の魂百まで」(日本）、「子どもの時していたとおりを、大人になってもする」(ドイツ)、「芽生えの時に曲がった木は、大木になっても曲がっている」(イギリス)というように、子供の時の教育の大切さを教えています。動物は生まれながらに動物ですが、人間は教育しないと人間にはならないのです。神様から授かった子供を、神様の元へ導くのが親の務めなのです。

　今日も、子どもたちの為に祈ることができますように・・・。　

『12:1 こういうわけで、このように多くの証人たちが、雲のように私たちを取り巻いているのですから、私たちも、一切の重荷とまとわりつく罪を捨てて、自分の前に置かれている競走を、忍耐をもって走り続けようではありませんか。12:2 信仰の創始者であり完成者であるイエスから、目を離さないでいなさい。この方は、ご自分の前に置かれた喜びのために、辱めをものともせずに十字架を忍び、神の御座の右に着座されたのです。12:3 あなたがたは、罪人たちの、ご自分に対するこのような反抗を耐え忍ばれた方のことを考えなさい。あなたがたの心が元気を失い、疲れ果ててしまわないようにするためです。』

お祈りします。

愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。イエス様は、ご自分の前に置かれた喜びのために、辱めをものともせずに十字架を忍び、神の御座の右に着座されました。私たちも先達の信仰者たちに学び、倣うものとなりますようにお導き願います。そして、信仰の創始者であり、完成者なるイエス様に似るものとなりますようにお願いします。今日の礼拝を感謝し、主イエス・キリストのお名前によってお祈り致します。アーメン。
