『知恵のある者のおしえはいのちの泉。

　これによって、死の罠から逃れることができる。』

　いつの時代も､先は見えないものです。確かなのは、確実にその先に誰もが死を経験することです。死が待っているのです、これから逃れる術は与えられていません。聖書では、死の罠から逃れる道は、知恵の教えであるというのです。では、聖書の知恵とは何か、それは、十字架の血潮によって、罪赦されて、永遠のいのちを得ることなのです。神から離れるという罪を悔い改め、主に立ち返ることなのです。

　今日も、主と共に過ごすことができますように・・・。　

「Hope deferred makes the heart sick,

　But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.」Amen.

Having a dream is a good thing. However, we can feel emptiness and disillusionment the moment our dreams come true. We think that when we get married, when we build a house, when we get a promotion, but it doesn't always turn out as we expect. The Bible says that prolonged expectation makes the heart sick. The Bible shows us how to live a life that is not a repetition of expectations and disillusionment. Those who have found their true purpose in life in God will see leaves on the tree of life, flowers blooming, and fruit bearing.

『期待が長引くと、心は病む。

　望みがかなうことは、いのちの木。』

　夢を持つことは良い事です。しかしながら、夢が叶った瞬間に虚しさや幻滅を感じることがあります。結婚したら、家を建てたら、出世したら、と思いますが、なかなか期待通りにはいかないものです。期待が長引くと心が病むと聖書は言うのです。期待と幻滅の繰り返しではない人生の生き方を聖書は示しているのです。神の中に、人生の本当の目的を見出した人は、いのちの木に葉が茂り、花が咲き、実が実るのです。

　今日も、主の恵みのうちに過されますように・・・。

「Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished,

But he who gathers by labor will increase.」Amen.

 Recently, many people are showing interest in investing because the government is calling for investment. It seems that many people inadvertently fall for that investment talk and are deceived. For amateurs, it is better to invest a certain amount of money every month. It is better to accumulate a little bit of the Bible every day. Prayer, Bible reading, study, and the accumulation of such things will eventually become a great asset that will be useful on the road of life.

May we accumulate the Lord's wealth today as well....

『急に得た財産は減るが、

少しずつ集める者は、それを増す。』

最近は、政府が投資を呼び掛けているので、投資に興味を示す人が多いようです。その投資話にうっかり乗って騙される人も多いようです。素人は、毎月コツコツと一定の額を投資した方が良いようです。聖書のみ言葉も毎日少しづつ積み上げていった方が良いようです。祈り、聖書通読、学び、その積み上げがやがて大きな財産となって、人生の道で役に立つことでしょう。

今日も、主の財産を蓄えることができますように・・・。　

「There is one who makes himself rich, yet has nothing;

　And one who makes himself poor, yet has great riches.」Amen.

I have heard that many truly rich people live modestly. I do too, but I am not rich. A life of pretense has to fall apart somewhere. I believe that the path to happiness is to live modestly under God, who knows everything about you, both inside and out. Wealth is best accumulated in heaven, where it will never decay or be stolen.

　May you live modestly in the Lord's presence today....

『富んでいるふりをして、何も持たない者がいる。

　貧しいふりをして、多くの財産を持つ者がいる。』

　本当のお金持ちは、慎ましく生活している人が多いそうです。私もそうしていますが、お金持ちではありません。見せかけの人生はどこかで破綻していくものです。自分の裏も表も、すべてを知っておられる神様のもとで慎ましく生きるのが幸いの道ではないでしょうか。富は、朽ちることなく盗まれることもない天に積み上げるのが一番です。

　今日も、主のもとで慎ましく過されますように・・・。

「Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression,

　But a good word makes it glad.」Amen.

Lazy people and diligent people alike have wishes. But the lazy person only thinks about it and does nothing, so there is nothing to gain. On the other hand, a diligent person is one who takes a step forward and does it. Therefore, their hearts are filled with abundance. Those who take a step toward God gain more.

　May we step out toward the Lord today....

『怠け者の心は欲を起こしても何も得ない。

　勤勉な者の心は豊かに満たされる。』

　怠け者も勤勉な者も、同じように願いがあります。「今年は、これをしたい」「私は、こんなになりたい」、でも、怠け者は思うだけで、何もしないから得るものがありません。それに比べて、勤勉な者は、一歩踏み出して実行する人なのです。だから、心は豊かに満たされるのです。神に向かって一歩踏み出す人は、もっと得るものが大きいのです。

　今日も、主に向かって歩み出すことができますように・・・。　　

「Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression,

　But a good word makes it glad.」Amen.

Kind words cannot be born when there is anxiety in the heart. (Colossians. 4:6） "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one." As we encounter, believe in, and accept Jesus, we will eventually come closer to a personality that resembles Him.
