『14:14 アブラムは、自分の親類の者が捕虜になったことを聞き、彼の家で生まれて訓練された者三百十八人を引き連れて、ダンまで追跡した。14:15 夜、アブラムとそのしもべたちは分かれて彼らを攻め、彼らを打ち破り、ダマスコの北にあるホバまで追跡した。14:16 そして、アブラムはすべての財産を取り戻し、親類のロトとその財産、それに女たちやほかの人々も取り戻した。14:17 アブラムが、ケドルラオメルと彼に味方する王たちを打ち破って戻って来たとき、ソドムの王は、シャベの谷すなわち王の谷まで、彼を迎えに出て来た。14:18 また、サレムの王メルキゼデクは、パンとぶどう酒を持って来た。彼はいと高き神の祭司であった。14:19 彼はアブラムを祝福して言った。「アブラムに祝福あれ。いと高き神、天と地を造られた方より。14:20 いと高き神に誉れあれ。あなたの敵をあなたの手に渡された方に。」アブラムはすべての物の十分の一を彼に与えた。』

アブラムの時代に４ヶ国連合軍と５ヶ国連合軍の間に戦争があって、４ヶ国連合軍が大勝利を収めました。その軍隊がロトが住んでいるソドムとゴモラを攻撃してロトの家族や財産を全部奪いました。そこでアブラムは彼の家で生まれたしもべたち３１８人を連れて戦い、４ヶ国連合軍を打ち破り、略奪されたものを全部取り戻すことができました。アブラムが戦いに勝利して帰って来る時、メルキゼデク王はパンとふどう酒を持ってアブラハムを祝福しました。

 お祈りします。

愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。あなたはいつも私たちを見守ってくださっていますから感謝します。すべてはあなたからいただいたものですから、あなたへお返しすることができますようにお導き願います。いつも信仰の創始者であり完成者なるイエス様を見上げつつ過ごすことができますようにお助け願います。今日の礼拝を感謝し、主イエス・キリストのお名前によってお祈り致します。　アーメン。

「Arise, O Lord,

　to Your resting place,

　You and the ark of Your strength.」　Amen.

　Happiness and fun times are best spent with people you feel comfortable with. This could be a family member, a friend, acquaintance, co-worker, or someone from the local community. Because we can be one about something. The term "brothers" here refers to people who share the same faith. It sings about the beauty of the unity of believers.

　May we love our neighbors in the Lord today.

『見よ。なんという幸せ　なんという楽しさだろう。

　兄弟たちが一つになって　ともに生きることは。』

　幸せな時間、楽しい時間を共に過ごすのは、気の置けない人と一緒の時でしょう。それは、血を分けた家族かも知れないし、友人・知人・同僚・地域の人だったりします。ある事に関して一つになれるからです。ここでいう「兄弟」とは、信仰的に一致する人たちのことでしょう。信仰者の一致の素晴らしさを歌っています。

　今日も、主の元で隣人を愛することができますように・・・。　

「Arise, O Lord,

　to Your resting place,

　You and the ark of Your strength.」　Amen.

　Where does the all-knowing, all-powerful God dwell? Where does He find His place of rest? When Paul went to Athens, he said, "God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands." When we believe in God, He dwells in the very center of our hearts and fills our hearts with peace and love.

　May you be filled with God's love, joy, and peace today...

『【主】よ　立ち上がってください。

　あなたの安息の場所にお入りください。

　あなたと　あなたの御力の箱も。』

　全知全能の神様は、どこを住まいとしているのでしょうか。どこを安息の場所とするのでしょうか。パウロは、アテネに行った時に言いました。「この世界とその中にあるすべてのものをお造りになった神は、天地の主ですから、手で造られた宮にお住みにはなりません。」神様を信じた時に私たちの心の真ん中に神様がお住みになり、私たちの心を平和と愛で満たしてくださるのです。

　今日も、主の愛・喜び・平安で満たされますように・・・。　

「Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul,

　Like a weaned child with his mother;

　Like a weaned child is my soul within me.」　Amen.

　A weaned child is a child who has received enough love from its mother. A weaned child reveals her weakness and smallness to her mother. A weaned child completely trusts his mother. Those who know God, are saved, and have full faith in God are like weaned children, filled with God's love, can expose themselves before God, and have full faith in God.That is why we always want to spend time together.

　May we spend time with the Lord today....

『まことに私は

　私のたましいを和らげ　静めました。

　乳離れした子が

　母親とともにいるように

　乳離れした子のように

　私のたましいは私とともにあります。』

　乳離れした子は、母親の愛を十分に受けた子です。乳離れした子は、母親に自分の弱さも小ささもさらけ出します。乳離れした子は、母親を信頼しきっています。神様を知り、救われ、信じ切っている人は、乳離れした子のように、神様の愛に満たされ、神様の前で自分をさらけ出し、神様を信じ切ることができるのです。だから、いつも一緒に過ごしたいのです。

　今日も、主と共に過ごすことができますように・・・。　

「Lord, my heart is not haughty,

　Nor my eyes lofty.

　Neither do I concern myself with great matters,

　Nor with things too profound for me.」　Amen.

　To be "haughty" or "lofty" is to look down on the other person. When we are "down" or "self-deprecating," we are looking up at the other person. It is difficult for us to have the same gaze as the other person. It is important to know where our heart's gaze is. To live life without much trouble is to keep the line of sight of the heart aligned with the other person's line of sight. A life with no surprises, a life with nothing strange, may be a life with God.

　May we walk with the Lord today.

『【主】よ　私の心はおごらず

　私の目は高ぶりません。

　及びもつかない大きなことや奇しいことに

　私は足を踏み入れません。』

　「おごる」や「高ぶる」は、相手を見下ろしている。「落ち込む」や「自己卑下」は、相手を見上げている。私たちは、なかなか相手と同じ視線で接することが難しいのです。心の視線がどこにあるかが重要なのです。人生を大過なく過すことは、心の視線を相手の目線に合わせていることなのです。何の変哲もない人生、奇しい事が何もない人生、それは、神と共にある人生なのかも知れません。

　今日も、主と共に歩む事ができますように・・・。　

「I wait for the Lord,

　my soul waits,

　And in His word I do hope.」　Amen.

　　When troubled by sin and feeling down, facing trials and feeling discouraged, suffering in daily life, or sinking under worries, the poet confesses that they "wait for the Lord." Life has its ups and downs, and there are many moments of despair. However, they declare their anticipation for the word of the Lord. The essence of faith lies in unwaveringly believing in and relying on the unshakeable word of God.
