  • Joey Roberts-Part 1: Seeing life through a ‘different lens'
From a small town to the bright lights of ESPN Joey Roberts has yet to flinch, until he was asked what his own story was.

Some have called Joey Roberts, an ESPN NFL Associate Sport Scout and the Elite 11 Director of Scouting, the 'next superstar,' a 'prodigy' and 'one of the top football evaluators in the game.' It makes sense as he began an internship at 18 with ESPN’s Chris Mortensen and grew to work alongside Adam Schefter, Trent Dilfer and many more ESPN producers/directors/hosts/analysts/reporters.

Yet it wasn't until he started to ask himself who he was, where he wanted to go and how he wanted to live that Joey began to feel true success.

‘I will never be able to help a quarterback reach his maximum potential if I am not reaching my maximum potential.’ Said Roberts.

Listen to Part 1 of the Joey Roberts, LIFE WITHOUT LIMITS conversation, and you'll get inspired, you'll be challenged and you'll start to ask yourself real questions, much like Joey Roberts did...and bet you'll tune into Part 2 coming soon.

  • Yogi Roth: Croatia-a puke filled boat, free fun, wild islands & Game of Thrones
Over the Old City of Dubrovnik, Yogi Roth continues his LIFE WITHOUT LIMITS short travel series. In the third episode of this series you’ll find yourself on a boat from Venice, Italy to Croatia where the majority of passengers channeled their inner STAND BY ME and threw up all over the cabin.

The image of a vomit-filed boat quickly alters as Yogi explores the Plitvice Lake National Park—full of lush green trees and magical waterfalls that spur his imagination to have what his Dad, called ‘Free Fun.’ Yogi explores the power of listening, how the power of play impacts all of us and seeking your Personal Legend.

Next was Hvar, one of the most well known party islands in Croatia. Yet it is two weeks before this wild island gets rowdy for the summer and Yogi compares this ‘Off-Season’ to his off-season as a football player.

Finally, in Dubrovnik, Yogi finally comprehends why Game of Thrones has exploded, pretends he is Jason Bourne and explains the beauty of walking along the ancient walls in the Old City while walking along his own internal path.

If you enjoy traveling, exploring and seeking new adventures the third part of Yogi’s 2016 European travel series will have you reflecting on your path, how you view the simple things around us in life and possibly nudge you to channel your inner #Throner.

    Peace

  • Yogi Roth: the 'Space Between' in Paris and Venice
As the sun rises along the Venice Canals in Italy, Yogi Roth sits with a cup of local coffee while reflecting on his time in Paris and a quick stop in this Italian community on this LIFE WITHOUT LIMITS podcast episode.

Yogi dives into the concept of ‘The Space Between.’ Ranging from the space between our ears, the space between notes on a scale, and the space between marks in time among these historical cities he explores the impact that being quiet can have. Yogi also speaks about the space between commitment and hesitation and how traveling, surfing and specifically walking, allows him to explore his thoughts looking over Paris at Montmartre with the Sacre-Coeur behind him.

He then explores his mindset in Italy and how important it is to get lost in those thoughts, to explore 'The Space Between' our ears while walking or has his Dad says in the documentary film LIFE IN A WALK, ‘Man is made to move – so we move through things in life.'  Yogi also discusses the power of processing while being present.

This podcast has a different feel than previous episodes, as you are taken to the edges of the Venice Canals while hearing the local sounds. You’ll notice the difference in Yogi’s tone, as you are dropped into his trip like you are sitting next to him.

  • Yogi Roth: Primrose Park, a muse & being an 'artist' in London
Yogi Roth: Primrose Park, a muse & being an 'artist' in London.

For the 1st time in over a decade as a world traveler Yogi Roth is sharing his adventures via the LIFE WITHOUT LIMITS podcast.

The first leg was London and it was getting lost amid the streets that supported past, current and future artists that had a lasting impact on Yogi.

“Traveling is my pure muse.” said Yogi, which should come to minimal surprise, but there was a conversation in Primrose Park that did change his relationship with storytelling—that it is ok for him to call himself an ‘artist.’

Take a quick listen and let’s continue to explore what it means to be human.

    Off to Paris.

  • Yogi Roth: checking in and being 'lost'
    'I've always enjoyed being 'lost.'

Being on my own. Exploring without a plan other than to listen to my instinct.

As I take off on my next adventure throughout Europe with minimal plan, I find myself exploring the idea that each podcast has centered around: 'What does it mean to be human?'

Each guest has given an epic tale about their journey and shared intimate elements of their story and they have hopefully provoked you to seek your story, or as my favorite book, THE ALCHEMIST said, your 'Personal Legend.'

So in this short podcast, proir to boarding a flight across the pond, I wanted to check in and say that yes, I too feel lost at times. But after some self-reflection, being 'lost' may be an element of what it means to be human.

Take a quick listen and as always, thanks for the love along the way.

    Peace

  • Steve Physioc:'When you're a seeker & open minded you always challenge yourself'
Steve Physioc – Quite simply, the nicest guy you you’ll ever meet.

This Kansas native is now broadcasting the reigning World Series champion Kansas City Royals baseball games but his path back home will have you listening in awe.

Steve's wisdom around life is crystal clear, as he reminds us that 'if you are determined to see good in others, you'll find it.' His positivity is contagious and his desire to explore is admirable as he states, 'when you're a seeker and open minded, you always challenge yourself.'

Steve was my first broadcast partner at Fox Sports calling college football games, and he took me under his wing from day one. His advice was incredible but it was how he lived each day that impacted me the most--with integrity and an unquantifiable love for his family.

Listen as Steve’s soothing voice, powerful quotes and mastery of storytelling will bring tears to your eyes, chills to your soul and remind us all that life is short, and it is to be lived with a full heart.

Follow Steve on Twitter for updates on his life, his family, yoga, his new book and of course, his Royals.

  • Brett Hughes: 'Maybe I could do something that no one else has done.'
"Before you tell me how you teach and preach...show me how you live and give." Once Brett Hughes shared that quote by Cory Booker I knew there were finally words that could capture his essence, his path, his story.

In my 34 years of living I have yet to meet someone who has lived a life full of service more than Brett Hughes. His story will impact, inspire and challenge you at the start of this episode, but by its end you'll be brainstorming new ways to give back to others, fall in love with the unfamiliar and quite possibly, walk down the road less traveled, much like Brett.

Explorer and storyteller Brett Hughes has been living a high performance life since his early days as an athlete in Ohio. He spurred a college football career for lacrosse, as he says 'maybe I could be the person that does something that no one else has done.' His choice led to a decade of playing professional lacrosse after an All-American career at the University of Virginia and Brett has continued serve others while living a life without limits.

After coming across a trash dump in Nicaragua he created Lacrosse The Nations, which has created opportunities for children in poverty through education and health. He has also co-founded the brand ANOTHER BEST DAY, which has inspired thousands around the globe to see the world through an optimistic lens.

Brett’s path will nudge you to seek your passion and compete to excel at it without any hesitation.

  • Kevin Carroll: ‘A ball saved my life.’
Kevin Carroll: ‘A ball saved my life.’ Kevin has been an agent of change around the globe for decades but it was the power of play, the power of sport that served as his Katalyst.

From the street of Philadephia to the Air Force, in the locker room of the 76ers to the board room of Nike, Kevin has been impacting others. His story revolves around a red rubber ball and how on a playground, alone, his life was saved by the power of play.

You’ll be challenged to ask yourself if you’re chasing your dreams, you’ll be inspired to seek your Red Rubber Ball and you might even scare yourself. But like Kevin says, ‘If it doesn’t scare you, it isn’t big enough.’
