Yes, so my name is Adele, Im born in france, and then when I was 13, I moved to Czech republic with my family. And now im living in Denmark..

Since 2009. So its been five years. Over five years.

So we know each other in five years, more than five yeas now.

So you speak french?

Yes I speak french.

Is that your mother tongue?

Yes its also the language I speak with my family.

And Czech.

Yes and I speak czech yes, because Ive lived in Czech Republic, so I went Czech school and I had to learn Czech, yes.

My little brother acutually who was only 8 years old, when we moved to Czech republic, now writes to me in czech. We speak french together but he writes in Czech because its easier for him.

He's better in it?

Ya, in writing.

Wow, interesting. And you of course speak English and a little bit italian? You understand Italian.

But actually I must confess that you know Im a musician and I have to travel a lot around the country but often when I play the concert I, you know, Its really awkward to go home just after the concert because its kind of a little filled with adrenaline so thats why I often actually go out with my colleagues for a beer.

and Im not so good at, I mean I cant… a little a bit allergic to beer so I can have only one, but its enough. But I mean you know I would go and we have a special place where we go often - we play a lot in a particular town and there we you know, bartender knows us and ya its a bit embarrassing even - because then, when you come in and he saids oh you again! so I mean you know if you consider that going out then actually yes i would say that I go out a lot.

Hi everyone, it's my pleasure having an opportunity to share my resolution for the last quarter of 2014. My resolution is, Singing Christmas Carol of "12 days of Christmas"

Just before that, I would like to touch on my background a bit. I have been living in Canada just over 10 years and having 2 little kids. I actually had Christmas seasons more than couple times by now, however never had a chance to sing carols, actually.

So, the reason why I came across the idea, was my older one. Last year around this time, there was a parents invited carolling gathering at the preschool.

This was the first time my child singing with friends, and I was almost crying looking at them.

At the same time, almost all other parents were singing carols together and I felt so much left out as I didn't know any of English lyrics of these songs.

This made myself so sad, and now, a year after in the same season, I decided to practice a carol that was the most beautiful one from the children singings, which is "12 Days of Christmas".

This song is actually a bit of challange, but I am sure that my kids and I would enjoy singing together!

Could you introduce yourself, please?

Well, my name is Sascha Dibbern, Im German and Im living in Denmark, have japanese wife.

That´s why we know each other.

Yes, and I make a living as a freelance IT consultant.

Im very small one man business but selling myself to other IT consultancies and end up mostly banks and pension companies - fixing the things and getting them to run.

For example now Im working in a bigger danish bank in something that would be related to what was the origin of the financial crisis in many banks. its called counterparty credit risk, so its the basic systems where banks try to find out if they can trust each other or not.

So thats a lot of technical stuff going on, a lot of mathematics - Im not mathematician, but there are a lot of interesting people there, there are a lot of physicist,mathematics(mathematicians), economist…

Physicist as well?

Ya ya well all people have kind of academic background and so on, and they are trying to do something different than just research are not interesting so much

kind of classical research and end up banking or pension area.

Ya, and Im doing more the technical stuffs, getting the systems to run and optimizing them and ya, that is what I'm living of - selling my services as a specialist in some areas.

Thank you Christian. Now I want to ask you (about) how you have learned English?

Yes. well, English, we started in 6th grade, Actually my first foreign language was French and we started at the time in the 5th grade. Nowadays children in Rumania they start on the 2nd grade. with the first foreign language. And I started, like I said, in the 6th grade, and then soon after we were told that there are actually two majour branch, so to say, accents and a way of understand english - that´s British english and that is US english.

And some, a couple of years after I started learning english, then some english students, coming from England, Scotland and Wales. They were like three different people, so when I met them I fell love with British accent.

That´s why you keep your british accent.

It´s very beautiful.

Thank you very much. Years after then I think the best way to, you know, tune the language actually, because I think a bit of tuning, you need like music, is same as well as languages

I went to England and I went to Scotland as well, and then, you can pick up sort of right accent.

So you studied abroad.

I did studied abroad, I mean my diving certificate was in Scotland, so.

How old were you?

At that time I think I was in Scotland.. when I was 34 maybe, ya, 34.

Yes, my name is Christian Davidsen. Im Rumanian, I am married with a danish woman so I live in Denmark. And we are waiting for a baby actually so Im so excited about it.

Thank you. And I work as a commercial diver (作業潜水士).

What is commercial diver? exactly?

Ah, commercial diver is something very interesting, what I think, we are actually working in the water.

And we have different projects, different construction things.

So you work actually three weeks right, at one time?

Yes, we are living on a boat or a barge (底の浅い船舶、艀(はしけ)) and different places, we move from projects to projects so manage to see most of Denmark actually in that way and ya, we work three weeks and we are free three weeks.

Have you been working as commercial diver, you said? driver? diver?

It´s quite similar but it´s different.

For a long time?

I only work for like two, three years now.

I went to Scotland and had a course and then from Scotland I came here and found a job in the field.

And wife?

Yes.

yeah

i work in a school but I'm not at teacher I'm a pedagogue.

so i don't teach the usual subjects like (such as) danish or mathematics or history.

but my classes is about making students ready for receiving normal lessons.

so we do a lot exercise and playing, using body, and using brains while we use our body.

Doing a lot of physical exercise.

At the same time we also talk about what it means to be a good student.

and also what it means to be a good friend.

and ya, its a great fun.

its a challenge but its also amazing to see how the children they develop so quickly.

its really up to us the teachers and the pedagogue how to make the best circumstances for the children to grow.

Hi im maja maja gianoccaro im living in copenhagen, denmark, but im italian and have been living her for the last five years,

For living i am a photographer videomaker freelancer. And my passion is cinema so try to became a cinematographer.

 

I learned english from the secondary elementary school

Always at school for i think until the end of the high school. So i would say almost 15 years at least 4-5 hours pr week. In each class in the school,

But i never practiced because in Italy we translate everything  in Italian and thats why we keep our accent even we  go abroard

So now it sounds nice its because i have been living in copenhagen and traveling  a lot.
