Welcome to another episode of our Winter Wisdom Series. Today, I’m honored to be joined by Suzanne Martin—an Ayurvedic practitioner, wellness coach, Yogini, and Tantric, as well as a core faculty member for The Sage Apprenticeship here at The Wild Temple School.
In this rich conversation, Suzanne and I explore the sacred trifecta of Yoga, Ayurveda, and Tantra—three powerful technologies that we work with intimately inside The Sage Apprenticeship, our year-long Tantric Yoga Therapy program designed to support dharmic living, deep self-care, and community healing.
We ask the big questions: Who am I at my core? What is the essence of my mind and body? How can I cultivate true health and impact the world more meaningfully? And we also explore intuitive guidance as a compass—how to strengthen it, and what to do when that inner knowing feels clouded.
Drawing from our shared experiences teaching workshops like Consciousness in Motion, we discuss how yoga is not a one-size-fits-all practice, and how misapplied sequencing in studios today may be preventing practitioners from reaching yoga’s full depth—and even causing harm. This is exactly why The Sage Apprenticeship places such a strong emphasis on Yoga Therapy and the three sisters—Yoga, Ayurveda, and Tantra—so that we can work with these sacred technologies in a way that truly supports, heals, and amplifies our ability to care for ourselves and our communities.
This episode is filled with practical wisdom, including rituals, deep nourishment practices, and what Suzanne calls Shraddha Builders—practices to strengthen devotion and clarity, particularly in the introspective winter season.
I hope this conversation brings you insight and inspiration—thank you for being here, and enjoy the episode!
