Way too many people are focused on what other people are charging. It's the worst way to set your prices. I argue here you should search to create massive value for your customers. Differentiate yourself by delivering unique experiences that solve big problems. Then price isn't the only factor. This is the best way to raise your prices. If you deliver the most, you should charge the most. And if you charge the most, you have the resources to have massive positive impact. 

The reason I think teaching on yoga retreats is more effective than in a studio is because of the schedule. In my early days of learning yoga, it was never just about the class. In the ashram, we would have meals together. There was music. There was community. So many of the lessons were conveyed off the mat.
