  • 69. My Flexible Nighttime Routine for Burnout Recovery

In this week's fun/extra episode, I share my current night routine that is helping me move through chronic exhaustion and get back into my body and the present moment. This routine is less about rigid structure and more about listening to myself. I am sharing this as a reminder that allowing ourselves time to recharge isn't only needed when we're overworked, but is also needed consistently to keep us charged. This episode is the third and final part of my chronic exhaustion mini-series.

This episode was recorded in a moment of deep exhaustion and low energy. It's here to give you permission to rest in a way that actually works for you.

    In this episode, I share:

    • The sensory experiences of my night routine
    • How I’ve learned to show up for myself consistently, not just when I’m at my limit
    • A step-by-step look at what I do each night after putting our toddler to bed
    • How to create a routine that feels supportive without being rigid or restrictive

  • 67. What Chronic Exhaustion Feels Like For Me

In this week’s reflection episode, I talk about what chronic exhaustion actually feels like for me. Not just physically, but emotionally and mentally. I recorded this in the middle of a spiral, during a moment when I realized that my way of “pushing through” life wasn’t sustainable anymore. This episode is about hitting a breaking point, feeling everything at once, and starting to understand why.

This episode is more of a real-time processing moment than a structured explanation. As I talk through what I’m feeling, the deeper realizations begin to unfold naturally throughout the episode.

    In this episode, I share:

    • What chronic exhaustion feels like when you’ve been “pushing through” for too long.
    • The mental loops of perfectionism, self-doubt, and feeling like you’re never doing enough.
    • My experience with emotional overwhelm, shutdowns, and not being able to fully rest.
    • How quiet, long-term pain can go unnoticed but still deeply affect you.
    • The realization that this level of burnout might be a turning point, not a failure.
