Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) is seen scheming to break up the blossoming romance between Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin). Summer, recently single after a failed relationship with Detective Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), is determined to win back her ex-husband, Kyle. 

Summer's resentment is palpable as she watches Claire, the new love interest of Kyle, and is seen resorting to manipulation to sabotage their relationship. She uses the fact that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), her mother, is missing as an excuse to interrupt Kyle and Claire's dates. Summer's tactics mirror the manipulative behavior of her mother, Phyllis, causing tension in the love triangle. 

Y&R spoilers hint at an escalation of Summer's efforts as Kyle falls deeper for Claire. The storyline echoes a past plot involving Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) and Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) where Phyllis persistently tried to wedge herself into their relationship. As the drama unfolds, viewers are left wondering if Summer will eventually resort to a full-blown harassment campaign, much like her mother's past antics.
