Young and the Restless sees the countdown to Ian Ward's (Ray Wise) impending doom has begun. With the citizens of Genoa City harboring a deep-seated hatred for him, Ian's days are numbered. Michael Baldwin (Christian Jules Leblanc), under the protective gaze of Victor Newman's (Eric Braeden) security personnel, has Ian hauled off to the ranch. Victor, a man with a history of desiring Ian's demise, is ready to pull the trigger. Simultaneously, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), desperate for Ian's confession about the whereabouts of kidnapped Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Aria Porter Copeland, strives to keep Ian alive on the CBS soap opera. 

Y&R sees Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), long tormented by Ian, may also be pushed to the brink. As her family faces Ian's gunpoint threats, Nikki's protective instincts could lead to a fatal retaliation. Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), both victims of Ian's twisted antics, are also potential culprits. With the Newmans united against a common enemy, the question remains: who will end Ian Ward's reign of terror?
