I start getting to know their particular set of problems as they see them and then I'm also looking at kind of a way to see them that's different, because I feel like if you just totally took people's narrative, then they wouldn't grow by seeing you. You know? Like if you just sat there going, "yeah, that sounds about right," you know, then they wouldn't really go very far.

In the sense that if you have a problem, where this is business problems, dating problems or romantic or health, I think its much better to use the energies you have when going through difficult situation to try to find practical solutions, to try to find approaches that have proven successful in the past.

It's still very misunderstood, I think, in the general population. People think of autism as a disease that needs to be cured. And it's not a disease. It's a neurological disorder. It's not bad, or wrong, or sick. It's just different. And if we can understand how that difference plays out in our kids, we can help them maneuver the world the way the world is.

I remember, you know, as a teenager, we think we know everything, and we think we have it all figured out, and we're all set, and adults say things to us, and they're just stupid, and they don't know, and they don't get us. And people saying, "Well, what are you going to do if the acting thing doesn't work out?" And me very honestly and seriously looking at them and saying, "What do you mean, if it doesn't work out?

They say if you're out of sight, you're out of mind. I say if you're out of sight, you're out of your mind. If you want to grow your business, you got to get in front of people. Using social media, using the internet is the best way to do it.

So when you look at the Baby Boomer generation of about 75 million people, it suggests there could be anywhere from six to eight million people, just age 50 plus who are living with spinal stenosis. And by the way, it strikes at any age. I know of a lot of people who deal with this already in their 20s. And it's just a horrible curse if you have to be living with this for the rest of your life.

I want to be courageous. I want to be resilient. I think that's important. I want to be empathetic as well, like I just still want to be able to have a heart. I want to be long suffering and you actually have all these attributes. Well, how do you how do you gain strength? By being challenged? How do you gain empathy? You gain empathy by walking in somebody else's shoes. You know what the experience is like, you know what the challenge is like.

I realized maybe this was an opportunity for me to really reclaim my life because it's I felt that 28 years old that my life was already half over in my mind. No money, no education, no health, no nothing. I couldn't even get a bank account when I came back into the country because they didn't know who I was. I was so far off the grid for so many years.

People come to us because they're in pain. People are frustrated, and we basically, in my opinion, we healers, therapists, I think we make a mistake in that we buy in to the fact that people have difficulties, problems, challenges
