Your body is NOT the problem!
I'm blown away by Season 33 Episode 5 of The Simpsons! Maybe my standards weren't super high but it's because I've NEVER seen a show depict body image struggles in this way AND leave you feeling less alone, optimistic and postivie!
Yes, it's a newer episodes but I've watched MANY shows that came out this year that have done the opposite of what this Simpsons episode did.
So I wanted to share my thoughts on it quickly and encourage you to go watch the episode for yourself! You can find it on Disney+!
Let me know what you think after watching it!
Your body is NOT the problem!

I had someone reach out and ask for advice for helping a loved one with poor body image and since 9/10 woman don't like their body, today I share with you some of the main things I do when it comes to helping loved ones with their body image!
I hope this helps give you some ideas of what you can do while also setting boundaries for your energy!

BUT your body is NOT the problem! Today I share with you common insecurities that I also struggled with and what mindset shifts I made in order to no longer feel insecure!
We cover insecurities such as:
And MORE! I also included two that are more specific to me that include a cute story about falling more in love with Graeme (before we were even dating) but they end with a lesson I think we can all learn from! As well as my thoughts on wanting what you don't have.

Your body is not the problem!
When you enter the body positive space on social media you may feel like you're not 'allowed' to want to change your body. It may feel like you're not allowed to love your body AND want to change it but I DISAGREE!
I think you CAN love your body and want to change it but I have a few requirements that I think about and encourage clients to think about before making any changes!
I also share my opinions on setting weight loss as a goal! My opinions on all of these things have changed sooo much over the years and let that inspire you to know that it's OK to change your opinions and beliefs!
Want to help me spread the message that you can change your body from a place of love? Take a screenshot of this episode and share it to your social media and don't forget to tag me please! Your body is not the problem!
Hello beautiful!
I put up a poll on my Instagram that had 5 options to choose from. 12 people voted that they have gained weight, 10 people aren't fully sure but think they've gained weight. 2 people voted that they know they haven't gained weight, 5 don't know for sure but don't think they gained weight and 4 don't weigh themselves and don't care!
For me personally, I have not weighed myself once since July 2021! I have noticed that I think I have gained weight but I'm able to be very neutral towards it and don't see it in a negative light at all because I'm focused on how I feel and how I feel mentally and physically is SO good!
So whether you gained a little and it feels like a lot or you gained a lot and it feels like the world is crashing down around you… or maybe you're scared of gaining weight…
Today I share with you 15 things you need to know and maybe need to hear right now!
