Today’s guest on this “Your Call” episode of USA Football’s Coach and Coordinator Podcast is head coach and defensive coordinator of Ashland-Greenwood High School (NE), Ryan Thompson. Coach Thompson is entering his 11th season as the head coach of the Bluejays and his 16th season overall with the team. The Bluejays' record under Coach Thompson is 66-35 which includes two District Championships. During his time as coach, his teams have qualified for the C1 Playoffs seven times, including guiding the Bluejays to a State Runner-Up finish in 2013 and 2014. Coach Thompson also served as the 2004 head coach of the Prague Panthers, a former D2 football team in Prague, Nebraska.
