TODAY'S PRACTICE
"This meditation uses the power of the breath to enhance the depth of the effects of the mantra Healthy am I, Happy am I, Holy am I. It also enhances the ability to carry out your intentions.
When practiced correctly, the breath will slow to two and a half breaths per minute. This shift from the normal 12-15 breaths per minute is significant. Once the breath rate is slower than four breaths per minute, the central brain starts functioning more intensely. The pineal and pituitary glands shift their relationship to each other.
In this state the effects of outer and inner sound are greater. The mantra will become more penetrating. A larger portion of yourself will be able to synchronize and carry out your intentions." -3HO

TODAY'S PRACTICE
"The pressure on the fingers is the key to this kriya. Be sure it is maintained correctly and strongly. This is to interbalance you in the duality of spiritual, mental, and physical imbalance. It affects the two brain hemispheres to bring you into balance. Breathing through the mouth stimulates meridian points on a ring around the throat, which affect the parasympathetic nervous system. Breathing in strokes affects the pituitary gland. Start practicing for 3 minutes, then work up to 5, then 11 minutes. Eleven minutes is the maximum recommended time."
TODAY'S MANTRA

"The Sat Siri Siri Akal mantra draws upon the fundamental principles of truth, projective prosperity, and infinite deathlessness. In its eternity it brings strength.
It illustrates the innate connection between truthfulness and identity in the Aquarian Age, showing the timeless and unbreakable bond between the two."

TODAY'S PRACTICE
"Alternate nostril breathing is extremely helpful when we feel off-center but still must function in the everyday world. For instance, we may be scheduled for an important interview or business endeavor only to find ourselves nervous or irritable. This technique can help us calm down and be more effective in our communication.
When we breathe long and deep through alternating nostrils, the whole nervous system is soothed, calmed, and energized simultaneously. All that’s needed is 3–5 minutes of this pranayama and one's whole nervous system can be revitalized." -3HO

"You are the master of your destiny, you are the prediction of your horoscope, you are the leader of your day, you are the light of your life." - Yogi Bhajan
TODAY'S PRACTICE
"This is a bij (seed) mantra meditation. Bij mantras (such as Sat Naam) are sounds which can totally rearrange habit patterns.
We all have habit patterns; we could not function without them. But sometimes the patterns we have created are not wanted or no longer serve us. By vibrating the sound current of “Sat Naam” in this manner, we can activate the energy of the mind that erases and establishes habits.
This meditation makes a good introduction to Kundalini Yoga, and will open the mind to a new experience. For more experienced practitioners, it can also help you to feel calm, relaxed, and mellow, and is also a good way to clear off the effects of a hurried day before beginning another deep meditation."
You may also choose to practice on your own for 11-31 minutes

TODAY'S PRACTICE
"Begin by inhaling in 4 equal parts. Suspend the breath for the same amount of time as the segmented inhale. Exhale in 4 equal parts. Suspend the breath out of the lungs for the same amount of time.
As the breath is inhaled in 4 parts, mentally vibrate the mantra Sa Ta Na Ma. Use the mantra for each part of the breath: inhalation, suspension, exhalation, suspension.
Vibrate the mantra the same number of times on the exhale as it is vibrated on the inhale. Vibrate the mantra the same number of times on the inhaled suspension as on the exhaled suspension." - 3HO
