Your Health: Stroke episodes in Singapore up by 50% in the past decade

The number of stroke episodes in Singapore is on the rise. According to new data from the Singapore Stroke Registry Annual Report - in the last decade the number of stroke episodes in Singapore has risen by 50% (5,890 episodes in 2010 to 8,846 episodes in 2020.) So what is causing this increase? And do you know the signs of a stroke? Rachel Kelly speaks to Dr Christopher Seet, Consultant, Department of Neurology, National Neuroscience Institute.
