Feedback is one of the most crucial things you need to be able to give and receive in the workplace, and yet it is one of the biggest things people are afraid to do in the workplace!
Fear not, because in this episode, Kimberly will be talking about the basic steps of effective feedback, the different ways to communicate your feedback, and the things to be mindful of before you decide to offer someone your feedback in the workplace.
Believe it or not, giving and receiving feedback can be an incredibly positive and pleasant experience! Tune in to this episode to find out how to master the art of feedback today.
KEY POINTS:
QUOTABLES:
“Radical transparency helps bring everyone along the journey, even if the feedback you're sharing, if the new initiative that's happening, if there's some change in management – doesn't necessarily mean that everyone's reaction is going to be good, and that's okay. What's important is that people are in the know.”
“Sometimes, feedback needs to be communicated through several different channels. Not every piece of feedback has to be attributed to the person. It can be generalized feedback.”

Today, we are talking about intrapreneurship versus entrepreneurship - the pros & cons, differences & similarities, and everything in between.
Now, entrepreneurship may seem like the more appealing end of the stick - that laptop culture and freedom lifestyle are all the craze right now. But there are also many incredible things that the path of intrapreneurship brings! As Kimberly has had the best of both worlds for 10 years, she will be sharing her own personal insights and perspectives on both paths, the traits you need to succeed in regardless of what you pick, and the things you should consider when deciding if you’re an intrapreneur or entrepreneur.
Whether you’re building a career or starting your own business (or both!) - this episode is for you. Tune in and find which of the two paths aligns most with you!
KEY POINTS:
QUOTABLES:
“Most entrepreneurs start with a small business and it can grow into an empire. People love talking about entrepreneurship because there's literally no ceiling. When you're an entrepreneur, you can go, as big or as small as you'd like to go, and there is no wrong answer.”
“Your success as an intrapreneur can lead to significant career advancement.”

“Meantime is where you get to meet yourself. You meet yourself in the meantime, because every one is going to be there for the highlights. But the valleys are some lonely places. And if you aren't confident alone in those meantimes, then wherever you are at the top is just you're going to be putting on because it's not real. It’s the gratitude that comes in those moments.” - Dre Brown
“Sometimes, some of your gifts are not to be paid for the world to just enjoy. And you should not enterprise every gift. So, what I would say is — pause if you are in something and you're thriving, before you pivot to something else. Pause; and really look at ‘how do I need to set my life up?’” - Dre Brown
