Sometimes, simply communicating your boundaries to others will not persuade them to stop violating them. In such cases, it might help to ask ourselves some questions regarding this person. Is there any wiggle room with respect to your boundaries? Is there a pattern of any type of behavior that you can discern? Is this person even capable or willing to accept your boundaries? Are you allowing or enabling the violation of your boundaries in some way? Considering the answers to questions like these can help you determine the appropriate course of action when it comes to boundary violations.
