Dr Emmett was a reconstructive plastic surgeon who after retirement from active surgery retrained for five years as an artist and sculptor. He simultaneously explored the nature, of the unconscious mind with a talented clairvoyant seeking the source of his inner voice, which had a profound influence on him stemming back to his childhood. He met Sri Sathya Sai Baba who sourced material for the clairvoyant, and was shown records of influences in his life, and in his previous lives. His father had been the only surgeon and doctor of Ayr North Queensland in WW2, thus an extremely busy person. With it being war time in Australia getting parts to fix things that broke were extremely difficult, so as a young boy he quickly learnt to be resourceful with repairs, the advice as to how to fix things Dr Emmett firmly believes came from his inner subconscious. 

Dr Emmett’s medical career was highly successful, but during his professional life he became interested in the subconscious responses from his patients stemming from his own beliefs and experiences in inner subconsciousness. Dr Emmett, aided by Sai Baba gained so much knowledge in this field he began to see how the inner mind could have a profound impact on humanity, thus he has continued right up to the present day to explore further into the philosophy that surrounds this area of expertise.

Furthermore, Dr Emmett understands that we live our lives in our everyday conscious level but need sleep, which is a higher conscious level. He also advocates that we use the subconscious everyday and that we can access the higher conscious at a higher frequency again, which connects to the divine energy. Sai Baba said his main teaching is that we have God within, God is absolute consciousness.

The Book

The story of consciousness describes the mystery we are, where we come from before birth and where we go after death, plus the thinking both in our mind, subconscious and beyond. It is the dimensions of rational awareness of mind and heart we use for our ego and creative life on earth, and in other dimensions around us. Consciousness is an inner energy which infiltrates our developing brains right from embryo status, it forms part of who we are as a human, and it functions at many levels. Dr Emmett considers that with out consciousness at its various levels we wouldn’t exist in the manner that we see ourselves today.
