Anger and frustration from politicians and citizens in both countries, and fear and uncertainty among industry. 4. Number 4: Searching for survivors in Nepal, The CIA's secret meeting in Russia, Great Lakes protection efforts in jeopardy, and more

Nepal's Foreign Minister says the bodies of hundreds of flood victims have been recovered. But there is not enough space in the country's morgues - so its asking for international help to get freezers to preserve the bodies. Those catastrophic floods have killed more than 670 people in Nepal and Tibet. Nearly 3,000 people are still missing, including 31 Canadians. CBC News is on the ground in Kathmandu with the latest developments. Also: Spies, as a general rule, don't like to draw attention to themselves. Which is why a conspicuous visit to Moscow this week by the top U.S. spy has set European capitals abuzz. CIA director John Ratcliff delivered a message to members of Russia's security apparatus on Wednesday. The content of that message - and why it needed to be delivered in person - remain a mystery. And: Donald Trump's order this week to rename Lake Ontario to Lake America is inspiring a wide range of reactions. Everything from anger to eye rolls. The debate over naming, though, is obscuring another issue - the need for Canada and the U.S. to work together in protecting the Great Lakes. The cooperation is ongoing, but some American scientists say the work on their side is being hindered. Plus: The U.S. and Venezuela's oil deal, Dozens killed in Russia's latest drone strike on Kyiv, and more.

There’s also support for Canadian businesses as they brace for the impact of tariffs from both countries. And the insults and threats continue — including the U.S. president threatening to rename one of the Great Lakes, and to stop doing business with Ontario. Plus: Legendary country singer, actor and philanthropist Dolly Parton has died. Also: Every tackle takes a toll, and for some football players, the effects can last a lifetime. New research suggests at least one in four NFL players will develop chronic traumatic encephalopathy, and the true number is likely much higher. And more.
