I have memorised 1,000 Amthaal (similitudes / proverbs) from The Messenger ﷺ (Ahmad).

...and no one comprehends the similitudes except the learned, Surah 29 v43.

The Messenger ﷺ would speak directly with the worst of people, thereby winning their hearts (Tirmidhi).

The envoys would be instructed... 'Gain people's affection ' (Al Isabah).

The Messenger ﷺ kept two really close, Ibn Masood and Ammar ibn Yassir (raa) (Ibn Isaakir).
