This week on Anime Pulse we got our last previews show of the season, IRL trouble for a vtubing imp, and Andrew's trip to China. Up first Joseph wrapped up his time with Moonlighter, and Andrew almost forgets to post a topic of the week. Then in the industry news, a vtuber by the name of Camila almost found herself in the plot of Misery, and the vatican released an anime mascot much to the delight of hentai artists. And finally in our last Fall 2024 previews show Joseph and Andrew work together to talk about a gender swapping martial artist, a boy who loses his weiner while a girl gets abducted by aliens, and the latest season of Who is Rem?

Spooky season is upon us. Or at least it was at the time of recording. We may or may not have picked manga that corresponds with the time of year of pumpkins and costumes. Because we have the planning abilities of a local city council that keeps getting voted out every six months. This week on Anime Pulse we got more previews, small houses, and federal offenses. Up first Joseph delivers some up and down news about house hunting, and Andrew is excited by the return of a few big vtubers. Then in the industry news, a very real crime was being committed by CrunchyRoll for over 5 years. And finally one last round of previews before Andrew goes on a little vacation, with Joseph saving his killer bunny people from dating goddesses and Andrew attends a mixer full of spirals that led to blue boxes.

It’s that time of year again where the promised sequels, just like the executives on top of their favorite hookers, are coming. We have at least one of those cock teases which do not lead to sex in the champagne room. That’s right, Dune: Part 2[2024]. So the first part seemed kind of promising. Baron Harkonen’s plan had succeeded in driving out the Atredies and retaking Arrakis. We weren’t threatened with a trilogy so everything has to wrap up in this one. This week on Anime Pulse we got the next round of previews, house hunting, and breaking free from prison. Up first Joseph is excited to say he might have found the house he can buy, and Andrew stocked up on horror games for the spooky month. Then in the industry news, there's just one topic to talk about, and that's the acquisition of Toho. And finally the previews wrap things up as Joseph talks his way out of a dragon life in 2099, and Andrew has to pronounce his title carefully or else a mushroom dog will bring back his dead wife as an elementary student.

Up first Joseph spent all his saved up fake currency try to gatcha a cute assassin, and Andrew wants to know who the best mentors in anime are. Then in the industry news we have two deaths in the industry, and they are quite the legendary voices we will no longer hear. And finally in the previews Joseph steps out of a bygone isekai era to find he's totally a loner running a prestigious guild, and Andrew has gone off the deep end of the Magical Girl pool with a triple threat transformation sequence.

Not much snark to go here so we’ll get right into the film. We’re going old school this time with Daredevil[2003]. Yes, one of the first Marvel movies before their studio was purchased by the house of mouse. And it’s over twenty years old at this point. Tuck your shirt into your highwaisted pants and let’s go to the buffet, old folks. It’s an origin story for Daredevil with the future Bat-Fleck playing the blind lawyer.
