The thought of changing your life seems daunting for many people. Regardless of how many guests I have on the show that advise small changes, many people are still paralyzed to inactivity because they think a life overhaul has to be massive.
For any life to change significantly and continue to move towards betterment you must take small, manageable steps. However, you can't take those steps until you have a plan. And you can't devise a plan unless you know what you need to change.
That is exactly what I am going to talk about today; utilizing an inventory system for determining what in your life needs changing.

My guest today is a perfect choice as I conclude Big Changes Week. Billy Anderson is the author of Your Comfort Zone is Killing You: Finding the Courage to be You. Along with that he is the founder of the Courage Crusade and the Courage Crusade Podcast on iTunes.
As you might expect, there is a lot to be learned from a man who ran with the bulls in Pamplona Spain, has jumped out of 101 planes and swam with sharks in Thailand.
As he admits, he is not fearless. What he has is courage; the courage to live life by his own rules and his own wisdom
I have asked him to join us today to talk about ways to finally kickstart the life you truly want to be living.

This week I am talking about things we all do that don't move us ahead. In fact, they slow us down, paralyze us. Today is all about the waste that is TV.
You worked hard all week. Don't compound it by wasting your weekend. Do something that has meaning for you.
Life is to be enjoyed. In the moments we are alive we should always look to experience happiness. But happiness can't be the only goal. Service to others will also serve you. In all those times, giving and growing, you will experience tough times. The important thing to remember is that you will prevail. Don't ignore the challenges. They make you who you are. Always know you will prevail. Look to the light and persevere.
Today I talk about the tough times, and how to get through them.

This week I am learning that some of the things I used to hold dear as a personal trainer are not particularly true. Yesterday I talked about whole wheat and today I break down another myth, that eating small frequent meals is preferable to fasting. Thankfully I am not an ego based man. I can accept that I was wrong, for decades! LOL. You know how I think by now, moving ahead is always best. If I learned something wasn't right then I just improve and move on; no crying over spilled milk. Without further ado, I have decided that James clear does a great job of explaining intermittent fasting so I will be reading from his article on the subject.

I have to tell you that I get so confused when it comes to whole wheat. Some people say it has the same, or close to the same, glycemic index as white flour. Other people say it is the reason we are all gaining weight. You know me by now. The only reason I am confused is because I haven't taken the time to do the research. Luckily for you, I am at my breaking point. Today, I figure it out once and for all.

I have talked about the smile before on ZEN commuter, and I definitely will today as well. But i wanted to expand upon that to include laughter too. We all love to laugh, but just like everything I do I want to give you empirical data that shows you the benefits. This episode does just that, it helps you understand all the god stuff that happens to your body when you laugh as well as give you tips as to how to laugh.
